Berbatov consistently good

To be honest this season even when he hasn't scored he's performed well consistently.Fine Shagger wrote:Berbatov consistently good

Come on Kyro, Berbatov and consistency don't belong in the same sentence and you know it.

Consistently scoring no, he went like 10 games without scoring.Dean wrote:Come on Kyro, Berbatov and consistency don't belong in the same sentence and you know it.
But honestly mate, I've given him a lot of season but he's had a good impact on the team consistently imo.

Yeah fair enough, you watch him more than me so your best placed to judge him, but from what I've always seen of Berbatov, he seems in consistent to me and that's something that's always been part of his game. I mean if he's 'that' consistence, then why is Hernandez keeping him out of the team?

Because Rooney and Hernandez just works better, Hernandez is a better goalscorer than Berba and it brings Rooney to life just playing off of him.Dean wrote:kyro7 wrote:Consistently scoring no, he went like 10 games without scoring.Dean wrote:Come on Kyro, Berbatov and consistency don't belong in the same sentence and you know it.

I just think even when he went 10 games without a goal he only had like 2 or 3 bad games.

If Torres scores several goals or even becomes top scorer of the EPL next season and Chelsea win at least one trophy, a lot of people on this forum are going to look like complete dicks.
not true. Last season everyone made fun of Berbatov and this year he is the leading goal scorer in the entire league and most people still don't take him seriously. I think if he scored like 40 goals people would still make jokes about him..I don't get it.
you don't get it? Sir Alex doesn't trust the guy over Hernandez even if he is the top scorer. Surely that says alot.
he ain't a consistent goal scorer he'll score like 5 in one game...next 10 matches he'll score nothing and then he'll score 4.
Exactly he's not even that good, if you're looking at statistics then yeah he sounds like a good player. But in all honestly, despite a few moments of brilliance he's still Berbaflop.
He's consistently good wherever he's gone..he helps even when he doesn't score. And how is he inconsistent? look at his ratio, it's good. He plays in the best league in the world on one of the best teams in the world and is their leading goal scorer and still gets hated on..makes no sense.
Consistently good? Ok let's look at his ratio
he had like a 0.46% conversion rate for Leverkusen
0.52 for CSKA
0.35 for Tottenham
0.47% for Man u
Failed to score in 10 games
Hernandez gets picked over him
Is used as the main striker but barely scores that much
Consistently shit if anything..

This season I have been impressed with Berbatov. His touch is one of the best in the league.

How does he barely score yet he has the most goals in the league? that makes no sense whatsoever. And those ratios are good, not super best player on earth good but classy good.

This is his best season in the prem, before those 20 goals he was practically Heskey. They're not that good, I mean I could understand 0.50 goals per game but when you're playing in easy leagues or playing for good teams that's a horrible rate. His assists aren't great either. Hernandez gets the same service he did and bags in goals, it's not a coincidence

They've both played poacher roles, Hernandez is much better at it... that's not much difference

First of all Berbatov is far more skilled, Hernandez is straight poacher. And calling him better is just moronic. He's a 1st year prem player and he's better then the leading scorer in the league? that's silly.

He is a better poacher, goal scorer is what you're getting him confused with. Rooney if you haven't been following the media bandwagon along with Nani has been playing more of a second striker role or in simple terms "the assister". The reason for why Hernandez scores so many is because of the help he receives, Berbatov was given the role before Hernandez and frankly, was lucky to score most of those goals. I did not say the same players, or who's the better goal scorer.. don't get it twisted

Smashed a hattrick v Liverpool and won us the game single handedly though, he can't do anything v the big teams if he's not on the pitch can he?B0dunrin wrote:So much impact he gets left out of every big game.kyro7 wrote:Consistently scoring no, he went like 10 games without scoring.Dean wrote:Come on Kyro, Berbatov and consistency don't belong in the same sentence and you know it.

Will it be today?

Surely it has to be. If he doesn't, then surely he cannot be allowed to play football again..

Probably will be tbh.
When Rooney was not scoring, he got his first goal from open play at West Brom.
