    Modern Warfare 3 could be just days away from a reveal if a recent teaser site is to be believed.

    A countdown site has appeared with the url www.findmakarov.com with the familiar Modern Warfare font ticking down with just under five days left to run.

    It's backed up by dogtags sent out to the gaming press, with That Video Game Blog receiving a handful of them pointing towards the site and bearing the name Sheperd, a character from Modern Warfare 2.

    It's as yet unclear who is on development duties for the next Call of Duty game, although there's five studios working on the franchise to pick from. Infinity Ward is one candidate, with Sledgehammer another outfit linked to producing a new Call of Duty game this year.

    GDC kicks off this Monday in San Francisco, and IGN will be bringing you all the news as it breaks throughout the event.

    I hope not, the last one was shocking, a new campaign with COD4's multiplayer would be fine.

    Infinity Ward have completely new programmers and developers now so it could be a lot better than MW2 or even worse. Neutral

    MW2 was brillaint. Online is quality. Im still playing it now. Black Ops was a pathetic attempt at a game. Infinity Ward should make every COD game IMO

    The story was just so random in COD: BO considering it was based in real wars...i quite like the MW campaigns as they can basically make stuff up seeing as it's the future

    Glad their making MW3, CoD4 and MW2 have the best campaigns. BO's campaign was a load of random shite, hated it. Neutral

    MW2 campaign was ok but I just base the games on online play because thats what I use most. MW2 online was brilliant. If they took out death streaks then it would have been perfect. Black Ops was just a waste of time. Worst COD game ever. Zombies was good but that didnt make the game worth keeping.

    Modern Warfare 2 was fucking broken online. The previous IW team did nothing to fix it either, it's like they didn't give a shit because they already had your money. Hopefully the new guys will care about their customers more. Snooty
