Thought it was pretty clever to be honest. Would be nice if COD responds with their own commercial.

It is being referred to as Campfield 3, the camping is seriously worse than call of duty.

Large maps = more hiding spots = more camping.

Also, isn't shooting more difficult? That would also explain why guys camp more often. They're too scared of running around and missing while being gunned down from behind.

    Camping reflects reality, it's strategic.

In real wars you don't exactly see soldiers running out into open spaces all guns blazing.

This. I never understood why people got pissed about camping. You want me to just run out in the open and get shot?

I think what upsets people is "sitting in corner" camping versus strategic camping where you hold down a position or area on a map. One takes no skill and simply requires you hiding behind a door or corner while the other requires more skill, awareness and communication with your teammates.

Even in real war, when someone ambushes the enemy, they usually aren't camped in a corner beforehand. Rolling Eyes

It's strategic camping if you're playing an objective based game mode, which is fine. You're just protecting the base or whatever it is But hiding in a little corner waiting for someone to come by sounds pretty lame.

Exactly. Camping on TDM is bloody annoying.

reports say BF3 has sold 5 million copies globally. MW3 will at least double that imo.

People can bitch about how ridiculous Modern Warfare is as much as they want, but it's a pretty damn fun game.

I've always wanted to say BF is better, but at the end of the day CoD is just so much more entertaining and addictive

I guess most of you aren't PC gamers then.

BF3 is the easy option.....FPS games are much better on the PC and BF3 is the better game (especially on PC).

Battlefield is more realistic, MW is just more fun. I think I don't even like these games...

Battlefield has always been a PC game right, which is the probably the reason why the PC game is superior to the console version.
