One to watch. Scored the fastest century in T20Is to help SA smash New Zealand. 117 off 45, I'll get the highlights.
Lot of new guys breaking through for SA. Marchant de Lange won the third match for them, looks promising.

Re: The Cricket Thread
I want to get back into cricket, but I think I can only manage T20 nowadays. Could anyone help me out with a schedule and where to watch online?

I might go the the ODI in Auckland to get a glimpse of Kallis I've seen him before but this will probably be the last time need to get his sig.
Will prob need to go to test in Hamilton to get his sig.

I asked Courtney Walsh if I can have his signature and he said "YAH MAHN"

Re: The Cricket Thread
Such a shame, the decline of West Indies. Used to be like Australia of the last decade or so. Brian Lara probably belonged in that era.

CBS series, we've limited Australia to 231 in the third and deciding ODI final.

I remember one summer I was on the same plane as Walsh and I didn't ask him for his autograph.
I was a dumb 14 yr old.

Re: The Cricket Thread
we are getting our arse handed to us by South Africa
in person news I scored the first 50 of my life in the final of our schools match against Auckland Grammar. It came at an important time in the T20 match with our team at 20-2 with our captain having just been caught. Chip walks out and proceeds to hit the bowlers all around the park for a stunning 56 off 34 balls including 8 4's and a solitary 6 which cleared the boundary at deep backward square by some distance. Then when our team was bowling it was an inspired catch by wicketkeeper Chip which started the collapse which ended up seeing us end up as 48 run victors with Chip grabbing MOTM after 56 and 4 dismissals as a keeper

When you're in form everything goes right - I've had those innings before.
I come out of it thinking wtf did I do..how the fuck did i do that..

Re: The Cricket Thread
Get at least 250. And all the time Jayawardene is still in you could get more.

Re: The Cricket Thread
Anything below 300 is a failure. I've never really rated England's bowling attack, but this does seem to happen a lot.

Re: The Cricket Thread
Seven down. Yep, 250 will do now.
We've pulled off some great last ditch partnerships in the past.

Amazing innings, might well have already lost the test if not for him.

Re: The Cricket Thread
Is 289 so far a good score on this pitch or could you have got a lot more?
