Remember when you predicted that "Chelsea and Man Utd would walk away with the Premiership" and that anybody who doesn't recognize it is an idiot who doesn't know shit about football? Pathetic prediction by a pathetic poster.

Btw, what's so pathetic about my post? Exactly what did I say that's wrong?

But Barca have dropped 4 points all season, 3 in the first game. Man Utd have already dropped 18.

So the English League is better because the leading team is worse? Riiiiiiiiiiight.
It means the league is a lot more competitive, and that adds lots of drama, which is what this thread is all about is it not?

    Different views of drama then.

It's not dramatic that we're at the end of January and we pretty much already know: 1) who's going to win the league; and 2) who's going to take the Champions League and Europa spots.

Don't confuse drama with quality of football. I'm not saying La Liga doesn't have quality football. There's no team that I enjoy watching play more than Barcelona..as in pretty much EVER! Best goddamn club football team ever! But I'm not sitting here right now thinking "damn this exciting, I wonder who's gonna win." Barring a load of injuries or a catastrophic collapse of form, Barcelona has it. Even if they lose the return leg of El Clasico.

I was talking about the league in general, and on here people talk a lot of shit about it.

People say La Liga isn't very competitive....that's hardly proving to be shit is it Neutral

When it comes to shit talk in Premier League vs La Liga discussions it's pretty much Polska by saying "all La Liga teams > their equivalents"....and then sparking people to retaliate with silly comments.

La Liga is a good league, Barcelona is a great team...don't think anyone is denying that

A lot of people deny it(Not the Barca bit, the La Liga bit) and say it's a poor league when imo the standard is higher than the English league.

Haven't seen anyone (seriously) say the quality of play is worse than the Premier League. People just say the Prem is more competitive.

Well that depends on how you take the view.

If you think people saying Premier League > La Liga means La Liga is a poor league then meh....

I think people do underrate the teams who aren't Madrid/Barcelona but if you're talking about how good La Liga is most people would take competition into consideration. La Liga is strong overall, but from some perspectives people could say it's poor.

It's all a bit of a overreaction and stereotypical but it's not like it's the opposite (i.e. super competitive). I think people claiming the Premier League is better has simmered down in the last year or two.
