are two who come to my mind when we discuss underrated.

Overrated? Most English players (ffs, so overpriced), but in particular, Rooney, labled a world class striker, but I don't think so, good as he may be, I think he is terribly overrated. McEachran looks shit as well, the hype around him is baseless.

Oh, yah and most Polish players are underrated as well. Peszko went to Koln, and looked like best player on the team by some distance. Robert Lewandowski as well, scores whenever given the chance.

I'd say Rooney is overrated by English media who speak of him in the same breath as Ronaldo and Messi, but at his best he is world class imo.

Underrated Busquets.

Underrated: Lucas, Busquets, Pedro, Modric, Glen Johnson, Marcelo
Overrated: Yaya Toure, Arshavin(maybe not anymore...), Lass, Kaka

Corluka, Bogdan Stancu - Underrated.

Underrated Huddlestone, even though I hate the cunt.

Overrated Busquets. He is a good player but i don't understand how he went from being shite to possible a future barcelona legend.

Extremly early to call McEachren overrated

Messi is underrated as well, as football fans have yet to fully grasp and comprehend his powers.

Yeah, had an awful game v Spurs, Modric was too quick and tricky for him.. but more recently he's improved and been in our top 3 players in recent games.

The way I see it though they were wrong in the first place, not now. He pretty much never has a bad game...an amazingly consistant player. Don't think you could put any player in the world in the Barca team that would outperform him, he's a perfect fit really.

Maybe he would drop a level if he was out of the Barcelona team but who knows, he's performed on every level he's played at.

Hes played in a world cup final, obviously del bosque & guardiola see something you dont.

Never gave Busquets credit, but when I started watching Barca week in week out I started to understand Busquets.

I know it sounds ridiculous but David Villa is slightly underrated in the fact he's never mentioned in say top 5 players in the world.

Never understood the stick he gets, he is a very good player, maybe if the rest of the team wasn't so shite, he'd be showing it more.

Think it's the role he plays. Lucas, Busquets etc. Too many people just don't understand the role they play in the team.
