Southampton FC - Official Thread.

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins already has his sights set on promotion to the Premier League.
Saints were able to celebrate securing second place on Saturday when they beat Walsall 3-1.
The victory sealed their return to the Championship after two years in League One, but Adkins does not plan on hanging around in the second tier for too long.
"We are at the bus stop waiting to leave League One for the Championship," he said.
"We will navigate our way through the Championship, and get a few more people on the bus, to give ourselves the opportunity to get to the next destination which is the Premier League.
"There is a lot of ambition at this club and a lot of drive. As long as we can keep stability and keep calm when things don't go our way, then I am sure we will achieve what we want to do."

The only think you can prove is a tax-case, which we'll probs get off with a £10-20million fine i.e. pennies to Whyte. We just released our figures, we are £8million in debt because the accounts have still to be cleared, happens on the 2nd, i.e. tomorrow from the end of the month. We didn't get any money from the Hamburg friendly, all money went to a German children's hospital. As Ally said, Aluko paid around 10k which is understandable, he hasn't had a club for 6months and was injured, a big £190k risk to take. Administration imminent?
