The fact you want to make it easier suggests you're not altogether committed to the idea.

Yes, I do get hungrier in the winter. However, not eating isn't the hard part. It's going a day without water, which is even harder in the summer. But as Ra's said, it's mostly about the shorter days in the winter.

If it weren't for TV, I would have no idea it existed in the first place. I vaguely remember it from an episode of Blue's Clues.Jordan Henderchip wrote:I remember in an episode of Rugrats the black girl celebrated it.

I used to think Kwanzaa was a religious holiday in certain areas of Africa. Turns out it's just an African American cultural holiday.

I think that's a little different to religion

It still follows the same "logic". Wanting something to be easier, doesn't mean you aren't committed to the idea. If I wasn't committed to the religion or the idea, I wouldn't fast at all. That's the easiest of all.

The whole point is the suffering though isn't it? You supposedly buy into this and think it's a good thing to starve yourself, and that God was onto something when he came up with this idea, unless you think God got it wrong and doesn't know (or care) what's best for you surely you should want to suffer for as long as he deems to be right. The fact that some people have to fast for 30 days and others not at all depending on the time of year and their geography is presumably all part of the plan.

I could be wrong, but I am under the impression that Ahly was being a bit tongue-in-cheek. He doesn't mind the suffering because he believes it is worth it, but he is human, he wants it to be easier. Everyone would prefer it if their religion demanded little and still offered so much.

No, that's not the whole point of Ramadan or fasting. I know you know better than this.

New laptop is here.
Also was just reminded why I don't play as much FIFA as I used to. Was playing a guy and I was beating him 3-0 and we're not even 30 in-game minutes into the match. Guy puts down his controller and forces me to play by myself for the rest of the match.

I've been reading inverting the pyramid recently and i'm surprised by how little i know. If anyone hasn't gotten to it yet, they need to read this.
He def deserves it, been working hard on his fan base but i don't think it was that great of an album. I've been hearing a lot of people say it is the best album this year but i don't think it was in the top five hip hop albums this year. It was better than born sinner but it seemed lacking? I want to see more of this cole (that last verse) but i understand why we probably wont.
It'll probably go platinum soon enough and that iggy line will be everywhere when she wins a grammy.
I hate using this word but you need to stop playing with fuck bois

It seemed so fake but other than that, it was just bland. A lot of the songs just blending into each other but rather than getting a cohesive album we got a roller coaster with no twists and turns. It was just a regular album with a guy saying its a classic. Pitchfork had a really good quote about it, they said it was decent album pretending to be a great one, It wraps itself in the garments of a classic, but you can see that the tailoring is off.
That sums up cole for me tbh, he is a good rapper but he is trying to be something he isn't. If he isn't trying to be jay, he is trying to be drake, or the next slick rick and e.t.c

I don't watch films, I prefer to write my own scripts. I have yet to watch a film that portrays the internal turmoil of a morally conflicted individual as accurately as my attempts.

If you're looking for the best movie then it's Baby's Day Out.
