I'm not going because I don't have a clue what I want to do, so i'm taking a year out and then decide at the end of the year.

my advice, don't do anything you're not interested in, even if you're pressured into it by your parents
i majored 2 years in comp sci in secondary chool, and i've always been a very technically-orientated person. then uni came about and my parents wanted me to start fresh and learn something more "us€ful". so they made me choose biochemistry. i tried it. i hated it. biochemistry revolves around theory and there's nothing technical involved. i wanted out but my parents said they wouldn't pay my tuition and bring me back to germany if i switched to another major. wasted 4 yrs of my life. couldn't get a chemistry job after graduation because my grades sucked and i wasn't able to follow current events. i didn't know what the shit i was talking about during my interviews
but i worked at the IT department part time at my college campus, so i was able to get a IT/software job fairly easily after graduation. now i have 7 years experience in IT/software/database/networking, making good money. not as good as a biochemist, but less stressful, and i don't hate myself

Yeah just like how that program about "drugs in football" was meant to be ground breaking and reveal great truths.

Gary O'connor.

I know, as a Shakthar admirer and follower I've wanted to go and see them a few times, it's really put me off going.Schnix wrote:Harrold wrote:Ukraine is quite well known for it's hooligans. What a line-up.Danny wrote:Loads of football programmes are like that, claim o he massive and they show fuck all.
Even that "Britain's Gay Footballers" by that Fashanu woman. All she did was fail to get interviews with pretty much everyone apart from her dad, John, some of the Millwall squad and Joey Barton.
I am in the same boat. Less than three weeks. It should be a very relaxing summer as well, I have nothing planned.Danno wrote:Glen Damon wrote:Danno, you are alive. How are you doing?
I am well, although I can't help but think tantalising thoughts about imminent freedom. A rather exciting time.
You are right, I misspoke.Forest wrote:You have nothing planned? That doesn't surprise me at all
