Yeah I don't really like it either. I just couldn't think of any better way to explain.

To be honest I don't really bother with ratings at all usually. Not necessarily from a moral point of view, I just can't be arsed thinking about it. I usually just have an idea of how attractive I think someone is without thinking about it at all.

Why would that be a surprise? White people are more sexually attractive than other races on account of our globally dominant social position.

I don't know if a girl rejected me or not. I think she thinks I asked her out on a date, but I didn't. Well I wasn't trying to ask her on a date, I was asking her if we were still getting ice-cream, like we had been discussing for like 6 months only for problems to arise when we were meant to get the ice cream. But she just broke up with her boyfriend (finally, I have a real connection with her. She is like me) and she said to me she isn't ready yet but when she is she will tell me.

Am I on the shortlist for a date with this girl now?

As a fellow Arab I tend to find the whitish ones the hottest, from places like Syria and Lebanon. Some from Tunisia and Algeria as well but that might be just the ones with French blood in them like this girl

When are we supposed to apply for internships/jobs for summer 2015?  I'm not too late, I hope.

I need to start sending off my CV to people too. I can't be bothered with the whole job searching process, I just want to have something to do so I can pretend to be an actual person.

Job hunting is the worst thing in life. I've had the misfortunate of spending several months in job hunting on two separate occasions.

The main problem is I'm just bored out of my mind. I've been working out 6 times a week and learning guitar but even that isn't even close to putting a dent in the amount of free time I have.

I haven't even applied for any jobs yet, I've had a month of totally doing nothing. I'm an idiot cause I've not even enjoyed this month off, I just did it for the sake of it. Gonna start this week. If I can't find something good soon, I'll just do anything to fill the time before I find something good. Also might do some volunteering. I've got too much energy at the moment I need something to waste it on.

We have an internship fair tomorrow, so I'm sending my resume to the companies showing up where I think I'm qualified to intern. I think January is when companies start seriously recruiting summer interns, so it's definitely not too late.

For what its worth, Compsci/Softeng students get internships easily. When i was looking for my first internship, i think every place i applied too, i got an interview and at the time, my cv was empty with an average GPA.
  Just gotta make it look like you know what you are talking about. Don't go to an android internship interview and not know what a content resolver is.

I feel this way every time i need to apply for anything. I just get lazy and not do anything.
