I'm sorry, the wording was very inviting. The joke would have been more fitting if it was someone like Vela, who I genuinely think might not be of this earth.

I was around 10 when I got my citizenship. My parents got theirs by taking the test, so I was able to get it through them. My brother was born here at around the same time we got our citizenship.

Nah I meant when you left Kuwait, but from what you've said that would you 5. Did you spend any time in Egypt when you were young?

Sterling said he's "quite flattered" to be linked with Arsenal.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I think a lot of people just expect him to re-sign because he's 20 years old and Liverpool are Liverpool. As much as Dalglish might like it to be otherwise, you can't just buy people in from the Carribean as slaves any more. If Liverpool refuse to pay the going rate and he can go somewhere he can win more why should he re-sign?
Can't blame him for asking for more with stats like this

I can't believe we let his contract run down, this should have been sorted out ages ago.

We would never sell to Arsenal. Did you learn nothing from the Suarez saga? John Henry won't allow it.

Suarez was taken advantage of because he was a confused foreigner that dreamed of Barcelona and Madrid. Sterling is a black Londoner, he'll force through the move.

You're basing that off half a season in the championship and a few PL appearances?

Wasn't that more to do with his buyout clause being lower than you wanted to accept? Contrary to popular belief it doesn't make any sense to refuse to sell to league rivals, because otherwise they can go out and buy someone else for the same money who'll probably be better because they're signed without the premium for buying from a rival.
Consider 2011, Chelsea opted to buy Fernando Torres for £50m and you opted for Andrew Carroll for £35m. Imagine if you had each spent that money elsewhere, or you'd said you were only selling abroad. Chelsea would have signed a much better player like Ibrahimovic for less money and Liverpool would have sold Torres abroad for half the price.
The same year Spurs refused to sell them Modric for £40m, Chelsea said fine and went out and signed Mata for less. Modric ended up leaving for a much lower price a year later. The only people hurt by it were Spurs.
The best thing for Liverpool would be to screw every single penny they can out of Arsenal. Refusing to sell would be nuts.

Who would be a realistic target better than Suarez?

Ibrahimovic. Not sure where that came from anyway, I wasn't saying it would have been in your interest to have accepted the £40m for Suarez.

Fuark I forgot all about the whole Modric thing, I'd kill to have him in our team now.

I like Moreno, but he costs us a goal every time he plays.
I remember in his first few games he did the same, i stopped counting after a while.
