That wasn't even close to offside. These referees are crap.

The handball was so blatant, and Alba was on by about three yards.

Part of the most prolific strike force in Spanish history, top scorer and second top assister in his debut season, and won a sextuple.
He's not as much of a legend as Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Ronaldinho, and others. But I wouldn't take him off the list.

This is an interesting time to examine the Bundesliga unless something crazy happens Bayern Munich has the league under wraps and Borussia Dortmund who was 2nd last year might be relegated this year.

Also in the Segunda Division (Spain) Numancia and Lugo played to a 6-6 draw, I have never seen a draw with that many goals before.

Don't you remember Motherwell 6–6 Hibernian?

Bloody hell weather, even I remember that. Lukas Jutkiewicz hit a van Basten-esque volley in the last minute as Motherwell came from 6-2 down to draw.

I forgot about that one. Although no one has played a 7-7 draw in recent times.FCB wrote:Weather130 wrote:Also in the Segunda Division (Spain) Numancia and Lugo played to a 6-6 draw, I have never seen a draw with that many goals before.

You never answered my question. Do you think Messi should be banned from professional football because of the medication he took?

I'm not aware of the legal situation at the time he took the performance enhancing drugs that turned him into the player he is today. If he was told that he would be allowed to.play anyway then it would be difficult to ban him from playing football today. I do think that HGH enhanced freaks should be banned going forward though.

And do you believe that any player who takes medication to treat an illness should be banned going forward?

So why should HGH be banned to treat growth hormone deficiency?

Because nearly everyone wants more human growth hormone. The rules should be the same for everyone.FCB wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:

Messi is a different case though. It was to treat an illness, administered and monitored by doctors, and he stopped taking it once he reached adulthood. Messi needed HGH to be normal, not have a clear edge over everyone. Messi's greatness is due to his football talent, not his physical ability like Ronaldo.
