Bogdan was spot on about Rodgers to be honest, Suarez made him look so much better than he is.

Glen Johnson in his prime could make any team top-class, though.

Left oceans of space for Jovetic to hit his and City’s second - reduced to flailing helplessly on the line as the Serb thrashed in. Struggled throughout.5
This is really turning into a witch hunt. He needs to move abroad.

Liverpool fans taking over polls as usual.

Tbf fair, the United fans had the nerve to take over an earlier poll that claimed that Di Maria will be a better signing than Balotelli.

Looked fine, unfortunately. Rodgers doesn't have the balls to drop him, or Gerrard.SBSP wrote:If Skrtel is injured, that is an absolute godsend.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Need a ball winning midfielder that actually tracks back and shields the defence in place of Gerrard like yesterday. He can work against weaker teams where you trade defensive stability for his passing range but against big teams where chances are far and few between its much more important to not concede. I'd actually love if Gerrard was dropped altogether but your average sentimental Liverpool fan will scream murder.
I have no idea how to fix this defence. You see the CBs overcommit, individual mistakes across the backline, and lack of screening from the midfield and it looks hopeless. I don't care about wages, Reina is so much better for this system than Mignolet. We get exposed so much and I don't think he's saved a 1v1 yet. He struggles to play to out of the back and his decision making isn't any better than Reina's. He's much more suited for a defensive team, where he's tested from range and not overexposed every match. He's not a bad keeper, just a wrong fit.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
And Lovren can't even play as a right-sided central defender, apparently. So we basically spent 20m on a like-for-like replacement for Sakho, who looked like he would develop into a more than adequate player. Back to midtable we go.

To be fair, it's not a surprise he was disruptive at City, it was full of mercenaries who didn't really give a fuck what they was doing aslong as they got their big paychecks. Also under an absolute moron of a manager who has a history of poor control of his players.Scott_LFC wrote:

TBF everything he won with Inter was a technicality. Ane he didn't even win the 2005-06 Serie A title.
