Exactly. I call if the Left Coast for a reason.Free_Mustache_Rides wrote:Too many minorities and liberals?
It's mainly due to the weather and the fact that people over there want to have fun. Somewhere in north Maine sounds like my kind of place.

I feel the same about places like Wisconsin, middle America or anywhere in the South.

Sounds like a pretty big step down.

Think I'm gonna try and buy this exact car. 1250 for the car 650 for the insurance. 1.6 engine.

I just think the smaller VW's look the best of any cars of that size. Plus I've been driving a Passat for a while so I'm used to the interior for whatever difference that makes. German cars are generally pretty reliable anyway.
My parents are game to chip in a bit to help me out, gonna go test drive/view it tomorrow. Need to wait until September the 1st because then my license is exactly 4 years old so I move into a cheaper bracket. Bussing to get this done though.
Gonna be such an improvement on the 1.0 £500 corsa I had a few years ago. It got totally written off when I got rid of it after a year. Gonna see if I can find a picture.

Found a pic, very shitty.
Also found the best picture I have ever taken. Didn't even try hard, just pointed my camera up and got this by accident. Added an orange filter but it's still aesthetic as fuark.

I went with my family though and I was only 20 so I couldn't try the club scene or anything like that. I reckon it would be very fun to meet people there though.

Yeah. I visited Portland in March and it had some pretty good things about it (more outdoorsy stuff and it's right outside the city, the beer was super duper cheap, the food is amazing + cheap) but there are few cities that I would really want to live in besides NY.

I'd like to live in NY, but isn't it really expensive + overcrowded? Doubt I'd have much chance.

At least you can go to Timber games and watch a Burly lumberjack cut up logs mid-game for some bizarre reason

Yes. I can't stand to go there for more than a few hours, the buildings all scrape the sky so you just feel overwhelmed and suffocated when walking around.Keyser Söze wrote:I'd like to live in NY, but isn't it really expensive + overcrowded? Doubt I'd have much chance.

I was playing the World Cup game last night, and doing the England scenarios for the qualifying campaign and as I scored 10 goals against San Marino I suddenly realized how quickly these recent world cup memories had already been erased from my mind.
I had already forgotten what a difficult World Cup England had had.

It's not that bad of a place actually. Closer to the beach than Atlanta, more quiet, less traffic, and hour away from Orlando. The community is pretty good over there too.
I miss Atlanta though and it will always have a special place in my heart.

Want to buy my old man this shirt of his home town club, they were recently promoted to the second division and are in first place right now. But they're still a pretty small club with a stadium that can barely hold 12,000 people, so short of traveling to Nayarit, Mexico snab dab in the middle of the republic, I can't find a single place to buy it.
I really liked the away shirt too.
