Back in high school we had crews too, everything from party crews to tagging crews, and they'd all had rivals they'd beef with too. 

I guess any excuse for a bunch of angry kids to beat the living shit out of each other is a good reason.

There haven't been any decent fights on Wurlstah for ages. Been waiting since early June for Fight Comp of the month.

I've seen a few of those, the one where a guy ends up having a seizure and another when some lunatic ends up biting on another guy's face are the most notable.

Too bad it feels like the majority of male drunk people seems to be the type that get violent. Bumping into someone in a nightclub results in more fights than it should

I honestly do think the north is a lot more friendly. I knocked a beer out of a guys hand once in Leeds and he instantly accepted my apology and said I didn't have to buy him another one because it was obviously an accident.

I can't lie to myself, I love fighting, I haven't been in a fight in years because I'm not some gorilla that fights people for the fuck of it, but if it was socially acceptable, I would totally be that guy.

I don't even know why I like it. It doesn't even fit well with my personality, I'm a pretty good guy, I dont even like hurting people's feelings. But there's just something about two dudes leaving all their pretentions at home and doing their best to knock each other's heads off, that really appeals to.

I guess that's why I still put up with watching boxing despite the dodgy officiating involved.

On a different note I've been driving one of these bad boys for the past couple of weeks. It's my sisters so I've got it while she's on holiday. It's way bigger than anything I'm used to driving, feels pretty good to drive. Makes me want a new car though, thinking of trying to get a polo or a golf.

That car looks a lot like the kind of cars Americans drive. For some reason I was under tge impression Britons drove those little hatcbacks.

You know, just how I like my girls; little but with a lot going on in the back.

I'm going to finish my masters dissertation and then look for work somewhere away from home. I have no specific job plans, I just want to live somewhere more interesting than at home. My friend has an interview in Guilford, Surrey which is just outside London, I've told him if he gets that job I'll move down with him and find work there. If he doesn't then I might try and teach English abroad for a while.

Getting locked down in a 9-5 in one of the same cities/towns I've been in all my life sounds horrible.

What are you doing your masters in?

Yea thats my nightmare, Im going to Germany in October for the year.

This was in primary school, so probably before I knew what code was.

Still just general English lit. I'm kind of interested to see what kind of jobs are available to me with a masters degree in English.

How does your masters work though, do you have to do a dissertation on a specific novel or author or genre?

You have to write your own question so it's kind of flexible. You could do one author and the way they do something, or do a few different authors that show the same thing and talk about the differences.

Well 5 but not because I enjoy fighting like the moustache rides guy. They were all situations where I either fight back or become a victim of bullying.
