Once me and a few friends were walking from one bar to another in Sheffield, and a group of chavs came up to one of us and asked for a fag, and my friend told him to fuck off (not the best move). Basically that started a fight between them two, and a couple of others got involved, etc, I was a bit further down the road so I turned around when I saw all this happening and started walking over to try and defuse the situation. Some chav with a dog was holding a bottle and he threw it right at my face, and thankfully/luckily I got my hand up in time to block it, because it was a fucking forceful throw and hurt my hand like fuck. He ran away after that, they all did, except one, who started crying and apologising, saying he was only being a dick because his girlfriend had just dumped him.
