Brendon Rodgors needs to let Mario take the penalties. His logic that 'Gerrard took the penalties before so he will still do it' is bad logic. Balotelli is better at penalties.

I haven't really thought about Negredo, but I guess I would have rather he stayed. Injured until Christmas anyway, so wont have change much in the immediate future. I guess maybe he wanted to go back to Spain.

Don't worry, my picture will almost definitely be a dog doing something again at a later date in the future.

Think so yea. Im pretty sure the Cole/Gallas swap deal wasnt confirmed until the day after.

Would be good to see the Falcao deal fall through, but that's just not going to happen.

City fans have been calling him the best natural no.9 in the world.

He was in insane form at the start of the season. Literally every time he touched the ball he did something productive. He was scoring from all over the place and getting wonder assists regularly too.

He got a shoulder injury v Hull away (I think, may have been West Ham away) and then went to total shit after that. The exact opposite of the start. His confidence was totally gone and he missed loads of easy chances.

Negredo is gone permanently to Valencia btw. He's loaned for this year, but there is an 'obligatory purchase' in place for next summer for £25m. Not exactly thrilled.

Because he's gone. Honestly though now that I took like 40 seconds to think about it, it's not that bad of a deal. 

Signed for £16.5m a year ago, sold for £25m two later. He's aged 29 so that will probably be the last big transfer fee he gets. He's injured for a bit currently too. I guess there is no guarantee his good form would return properly either. 

Only issue is that Jovetic and Aguero get injured weekly. Negredo may not have made any difference in the next couple of months because he's out anyway, but having 3 strikers can easily leave us short. Can always convert Scotty Sinclair to striker.

Just stick Toure up front if you have to.
