One game left in the season, if we avoid defeat we go unbeaten in the league!

Could be the table this season.
Chip...are you good at training young players to their potential? I need help.

Ummm I guess I'm good at that Mason
Most of my squad is/was youth players and we went unbeaten. What you need help with?

These two players my friend. What positions should I train them for and how do I progress them quickly?

If anyone can pick up Lucas Evangelista then do. I got him for £3.7m at the start of my 2nd season and he has progressed very well.

That Gerber guy would be a great DLP, just work on his mental stats. Get somebody with higher determination (or equal determination) and good teamwork to tutor him. He will progress more quickly if you play him regularly.
Evren would be a great Trequarista, just work on some of his mental stats (through tutoring and they usually develop through game time)
Both of them are good enough that you can probably mould them to fit any midfield role that you want from them, just give them playing time. Like give them half a season/a season in the youth team/reserve team then put them in the first team. That is what I do

I wish I could play on normal mode instead of classic, it's impossibly slow otherwise.
Can't do team talks or training on classic.

Got some pretty juicy assists from my wing back over the years.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
That is pretty impressive I must say, I haven't played much FM since that Unbeaten season with Rennes...
The Olympics pretty much destroyed me, since most of my squad was U23 French players I have legit lost 9 players from my first team squad to the Olympics. Kinda shit tbh
Started a save with Leeds United, not sure if I'm enjoying it though

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Think I've made this team close to as good as it's gonna get. 19 games in and I've won 18 of them. 16 points clear at the top.
Belhanda broke his leg last year and declined as a footballer a little bit. Thought he'd be worse this year but he's been in ridiculous form at AMC. He's 29 now, might need to replace him soonish. Got transfer listed at United, think I made them regret selling him for £9m. Player of the year two of those years.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Finished on 101 points, won the title by 20 points. I won 18 games in a row and didn't concede for about 15 in a row. Played weakened teams for the end of the season too because I'd won it with 8 games to spare.
Obviously I won every competition. League cup, FA Cup and Champions league were all 3-0 wins, against Watford, Chelsea and Barca.
Might play one more season with Swansea and then resign and take over somewhere else. I hate how they only seem to offer you jobs in the middle of the season. They should get caretaker managers more often and offer you at the end of the season.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Gone back to the Rennes save, managed to park the bus with my reserve players and some first teamers against PSG and come away with a 1-0 victory. So I can add another trophy to my collection!!!
Started the season well, 2 wins a draw (against Monaco) so nothing to complain about. Should be getting all my U23 internationals back in the next couple of games which is good. Hopefully I can go deep into the Champions League this season

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Got this guy coming through my academy. Might be my second luckiest regen ever. Internationally capped at 16 years old.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Swansea always get good regens on my saves. I'm not sure why though as I can't think of one good player who they've produced.
Going to start up my Southampton save again.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Yes sir, I play as Derby County
4th season in
First season, styled the Championship and won ez peezy
Second season, was expecting relegation battle. Settled comfortably in mid table
Third season, was hoping to push for a European spot and solidify my place in the top half of the table. Came fourth, was delighted. Then Liverpool who came 5th beat Bayern München in the Champions League final. So I qualified for the Europa League
Fourth and current season, finished top of my Europa League group. Pushing for a European place.
Will Hughes is starting to style this season, my top scorer with like 9 goals and he's got like 10 assists (it is the start of December) he's a real beast.
Got some good top quality youngsters in the youth squad that have come through the academy (or I've purchased at a young age and they're coming through the youth squad) and I have a couple of regens that I've blooded into being a regular part of the first team squad.
Currently have the lowest wage budget in the whole league and had a net transfer spend of like -£30M last season. Sold Vydra for like £15M and Keylor Navas to Milan for £20M so I was delighted with that
Will post screenshots of my team later

I've downloaded the latest LFCMarshall update (Di Maria at Manchester United, Balotelli at Liverpool etc...) not sure who to start with though.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
I stopped playing because I won everything with Swansea for years in a row, then moved to Barca and won everything 2 years in a row. I think the game is less fun when it's nearly all regens too.
You should play as Leicester.
