Probably agree with this.Keyser Söze wrote:The 1st was a foul but shouldn't have been a penalty since Villa played on. 2nd was a clean tackle.Moriarty wrote:I thought that the 2 against Villa were correct?

Koscielny hit the back of Agbonlahor's leg before he touched the ball.

Its almost impossible to spot in real time, I don't believe the ref/linesmen can see that but not see the ball deviate as a result of Koscielny getting the ball. Regardless, I think his knee touches Agbonlahor's left leg after he gets the ball.Moriarty wrote:Koscielny hit the back of Agbonlahor's leg before he touched the ball.

Slapped the shit out of Stoke. What a match. I'm honesty surprised as Stoke are usually stubborn pricks and doesn't allow such a scoreline.
Feels good. 2 losses in the last 20 matches.

Promising performance by Gnabry as well, sort of thrown in at the deep end but kept his cool all throughout the game, a bit frustrating at times but that's expected from all players that age, he'll get a lot better.

I love sloppy wins vs teams that aren't auto wins. Shows we can actually pull through when things just aren't clicking and the flow isn't there.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
He was overly cautious and kept trying to give the ball to the nearest player. I was hoping he'd go all out and just catch them by surprise in the same way Chamberlain did back in 2011/12 when he was introduced to the first team. But he still had some nice touches and I think he has a good future ahead of him.The Zlatan wrote:Promising performance by Gnabry as well, sort of thrown in at the deep end but kept his cool all throughout the game, a bit frustrating at times but that's expected from all players that age, he'll get a lot better.

Not sure if Stoke are playing good football or just stealthily disguised hoofball.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Yeah Gnabry sort just ran backwards or sides ways whenever he received the ball in the centre of the midfield.
Some nice set piece taking by Özil, makes a change from the usual awful balls Walcott takes. Giroud had a tough game being effectively man marked by two giants, had to come deep just to get a touch of the ball and couldn't make his usual good movements. Ramsey looked tired towards probably could do with rest. Flamini has been excellent in every game he's played, showed the morons that laughed at his signing why most Arsenal fans were pleased to re-sign him.

Stoke at home is an auto win, I'm pretty sure we win by 2 basically every year.Phadunkin Donuts wrote:I love sloppy wins vs teams that aren't auto wins. Shows we can actually pull through when things just aren't clicking and the flow isn't there.

Top of league feels good. Well deserved.
Once we start playing the big boys, however, it's going to get messy.

You've got Swansea away next weekend. Could be tricky, they're in good form. Spurs have Chelsea or something though, so you'll be safe for another week.Phadunkin Donuts wrote:Okay cool. Finally.
