Is Bale for £80m actually a real thing? I heard there's no written offer, I find it very hard to believe that Levy would hold onto Bale when that sort of money is on offer.

Buzzing for the new season with the signings City made while I was away.

Re: Chat Thread
Yeah City have made some exciting signings and according to Skys twitter (Who probably got it off some random twitter account) Real Madrid have made an official 85m bid.

Re: Chat Thread
They could have a problem on their hands if they sign Suarez and Bale. Ronaldo + those two are obviously gorgeous little players, but they take about 500 touches and 15 shots per game each.

Fuck, I'd bite off their hands if I was Tottenham, 85 million for AvB to reinvest. Some shrewd business would give them a much bigger chance for top 4.

Re: Chat Thread
They would just need a right back to replace that verminous beast Kyle Walker, another central defender so they don't have to rely on Stage III Carraghitis-plagued Michael Dawson when Kaboul is out, a forward, and an attacking midfielder.Dagbon wrote:Fuck, I'd bite off their hands if I was Tottenham, 85 million for AvB to reinvest. Right back is quite a problem-you can either spend 7/8 million and end up with a limited player like Azpilicueta or pay the premium for a dynamic, buccaneering hero of men like Glen Johnson.

Harry Redknapp has done wonders for Bale's value by bleating on about how triffic he is and how he's up there with Ronaldo.

Just can't believe Madrid didn't stop at 50 million.

Who's better, Soldado or Negredo or is it a toss up?

I've heard Soldado is a bit limited bar his goalscoring, while Negredo might have a bit more to his hold-up play.

Looks like I should put Negredo in fantasy team.

Zzonked while you were banging bitches and waiting on buses for hours did you get a chance to read any poker books?
I've converted to PLO too, so much more profitable than Hold'em.

Nah I just ended up reading tons of Game of Thrones. I've tried PLO and it's quite addictive cause of the action.

Malmo beats Hibernian 9-1 on aggregate.
Midtable Premier League side Swansea beat Malmo 4-0.
What is Gaz Hooper doing, taking a step down and leaving Champions League challengers Celtic for the Premier League?

Being at home after being on holiday for 6 weeks is so painful. Sitting inside with no goals or anything engaging to fill my time. Guess I should try and find something to do.

My blog has had considerable effects already.

The people getting more time will be "Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler, Les Ferdinand, Gus Poyet and Gianluca Vialli."
Absolutely superb.

Re: Chat Thread
It's not impossible for them to leave him out, we left out van Persie before a deal was agreed with another club. The link that Fonseca posted contains the Liverpool personal squad photos for the upcoming season, everyone's there apart from Suarez, it's quite telling. Before you mis-quote me, I'm not saying this:-
"FUCKIN BUSSIN HES JOININ ARSENAL FUCKIN YASSSSS"
I'm saying that it 99% confirms he won't be a Liverpool player next season.
Zlatan on TF
Joe Allen and Assaidi aren't there. Guess they're off too?
Spearing is unlikely to be a Liverpool player come September, but his picture is up. Just goes to show that it has no bearing.
It's not even the official place for the photographs. I.e, it's not final until it's on the official site.
