Yeah, I figured. The Maestro doesn't know what "pretentious" means and Ahly prefers to troll and then act like the victim.

Javier Hernandez scored a brace yesterday and now sit at 32 goals. I'm so excited to see him break Jared Borgetti's all time record. (46) I remember thinking that he's the guy to break it when he started his international career back in 2009 and as of yesterday he sits in 5th place all time.

I feel like I should know who Cesare_BORGlA on EA is.

It's determined by head to head in La Liga. It doesn't matter anyway, Sociedad finished higher by one point. This will pave the way for us to purchase Soldado.

Speaking of La Liga. Mallorca is heading to Liga Adelante next season.

There was some controversy this week because Mallorca were supposed to release Gio this Friday but did not want to because they wanted him to play their final game of the season, hoping to avoid relegation. Mexico was unsympethtic and they threatened to report Mallorca to FIFA if they did not release him.

So we'll have to see what happens now. (probably nothing.)

Gio scored a goal though.

I definitely think he could if he got a fair shot. I don't think he really got that at Tottenham.

I'm not one of those people who think there is a clear disparity in quality between La Liga and the BPL. I think there are different styles and tactics, and that it will take time for most players to settle a bit first but I think eventually if a player is talented he'll find a way to fit in.

Agreed, he should return at some point. The likes of Mata, Cazorla, Coutinho, Oscar, etc. are slowly proving that claim to be a myth.

I'm just looking at players Liverpool should sign for our poorer version of Chelsea's trio of Hazard/Mata/Oscar.

I am a football fan. I don't see the need for some sort of blind allegiance to a club. I supported Arsenal during the Suarez fiasco, I supported Real Madrid for the week because the Premier League season was over, I supported Aston Villa because it gave me my chance at a new life on a forum and Stephen Warnock is a LAD. Football is a form of entertainment and something I want to use to maximize my enjoyment. People say that because I don't live in Liverpool, I can't support them, yet they have no problem with me liking the LOTR movies despite my never having visited New Zealand.

I am not sure which club I will support next season, though. It all depends on the transfer window, I think.

Back before the days of Sturridge, Coutinho, and even Big Andy, there was a rumor about Gio joining Liverpool. That was a rumor I would have liked seeing materialize.

Liverpool tend to disappoint me with their signings. I also wanted them to sign Nilmar, and Jackson Martinez a while back when Liverpool could of signed them for a pretty good price and both didn't pan out.

Liverpool just don't seem to want to take risk when it comes to signing talent not in Britain.
