Anybody else has microsoft word 2010? I hate how they changed the default font and size from Times New Roman 12 to Calibri 11.
All of my professors insist on the former and every assignment I start typing away only to notice the font is wrong and have to format everything.
I know it shouldn't be that much of a bother but when I have multiple pages open it adds up. What's worse the "set to default" button seems to not work.

Same as how every paper given is expected to be double-spaced but the default is 'multiple'. Writing a paper right now, and the formatting is the hardest part. Chicago style gets to be tedious especially if you aren't good with MW as it is.

Chicago Style papers are a nightmare. I hate all that notations stuff. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to reference (in text) or not. I think Chicago style is most for history papers, all my other classes make me use the standard MLA style.

Is your school very big? I remember my school had about 3,500 students and teachers would always complain of overcrowds. I never felt all that crowded.

Is Times New Roman size 12 what lecturers prefer? I always spend ages choosing the font. On my final paper I was told to use Arial size 12 with 1.5 line spacing
