ur pore
But seriously, it's expensive because it's designer I think. The fit and material will be x10 better than the cheaper option, but realistically it probably makes sense to only get a few things at the price. It's about £20 for some of the t-shirts though, which isn't that expensive for nice shirts.

Re: Clothes Thread
Hm, I need some nice joggers for sixth form but they must be smart not the tacky usual ones. Basically ones I can pull off with anything.
Also looking for some new footwear I can wear for going out. Similar to these:
Any suggestions for both joggers and shoes?

Never understood why people still pay silly amounts for that polo make or whatever its called, same with lacoste. No offence start, I guess its your money at the end of the day.
Take away the tiny little logo and you have a black t-shirt mf. Obviously.

I know what you mean but sometimes I'll pay more for brand name. Couldn't care less about the logo, in actual fact I'd probably rather have it plain, but usually the material and fit is a lot better if you pay more.

Take the horse away and youve got yourself a shit t shirt only good enough for sleeping in or going gym in or what not
The horse makes all the difference. It turns it into a t shirt that would be seen as acceptable to wear out for meals, where out into town drinking etc.
Get my drift?
The horse is a pulling tool. A girl sees a guy in a regular black t shirt on a night out? Lame
Girl sees a guy in a blak t shirt with a horse on? Mans got style
And like Zzonked said, pay more and the fit and quality of material is much better obviously.

Re: Clothes Thread
Getting a EA7 shirt or like a Ralph tshirt is wack though, why pay £50-70 for something that's going to be under something else. I only buy jumpers/jackets that have it and it's good quality.
I have a Ralph jumper for example and it's cotton but it's as warm as wool, I can't be assed to get anything else Ralph though because it's just what chavs and phaggots wear now like Burberry back in the day.
The brand thing doesn't matter at a night out either, ask any girl on whether a nice shirt or some random t-shit with Lyle and Scott is better and they'll say the shirt 9/10.

I don't know about the uk but in Canada some girls get instantly wet when they see all of my brand name clothes.Carlos Jenkinson wrote:Getting a EA7 shirt or like a Ralph tshirt is wack though, why pay £50-70 for something that's going to be under something else. The quality is way better too. Comparing my lacoste, D&G etc. shirts to the ones I have from primark the difference is huge.

Re: Clothes Thread
I only ever get the real expensive brands if they're on offer. For example that Paul Smith I posted above was from £65 to £30, and I like it soooo
Then for the Ralph Lauren, I find it extremely good quality for t-shirts, have a navy one with red horse that i've had for a while now and it's basically brand new, the feel, colour and fit. Washed it 10+ times aswell.
But I do agree with Forest in a way because people do notice it. But also agree with Novi/Zzonked aswell.

Foncesca is right too, loads of phaggots wear Ralph and Lacoste now.
D&G, Armani and Dior are the more superior brands atm.

That's because it's less common in North America, in Europe we're exposed to everything and in the UK all the chavs with barely any money destroy all these brands because they either get fakes or buy the real thing and because they're grotty little phaggots it puts people off.
Infact it happens so much here that the middle class people actually wear scruffy and old clothes whilst chavs wear the new clean cut stuff they bought with their paycheck from Lidl.

Re: Clothes Thread
I used to be a big fan of the big brands, but after realising apart from the occassion not MANY people are in awe of it I just wear nice plan t-s now or nice prints, I can buy 3-4 for what I can get one Lacoste polo or something like that.

Make no mistake about it Crumpet, I'm not dissing brands I just disagree how important people think they are even though I wear them also.
At the end of the day if you were making like rapper money you'd buy shit like Prada or Fendi that don't actually have logo's

Agreed, I mean don't get me wrong, brands are nice, but I'm not going to spend x5 the price just for the sake of a logo for bragging rights, if I had the money I would, but it just looks out of place and a bit wannabe having one item that's a top designer brand.
I need a new pair of creps.

I know what you mean, back in the school days some guys would have a couple of nice polos like Fred Perry and stuff (cost a fair bit when you're 16!) but they'd wear them all time as if they just wanted to show them off.crump wrote:Agreed, I mean don't get me wrong, brands are nice, but I'm not going to spend x5 the price just for the sake of a logo for bragging rights, if I had the money I would, but it just looks out of place and a bit wannabe having one item that's a top designer brand.

Hit the nail on the head there!
I have slim chinos/jeans now so any trainers go with them, would you reccomend Gazelles?
