Clothes Thread
Okay so we had something like this, but it was only stuff which you'd recently bought. This is any type of clothes you've bought, want to buy, like, whatever.

Re: Clothes Thread
Those arc jeans or whatever they're called, the ones with the low crotch. I used to think they looked really daft but Topman have released a new line and I think they look good, cuffed at the bottom looks decent as well.

Re: Clothes Thread
I'm the same, thought they looked stupid now they've grown on me. I don't like the cuffed at the bottom ones though. I hate jogger jeans too. River island are really good for everything except Jeans, they insist on doing loads of weird jogger type ones.

Re: Clothes Thread
Yeah, you see a perfectly nice pair of jeans and then it has the jogger bit at the bottom, completely ruins them. I like jeans that hug the calf, find them comfier, warmer and they make your footwear look better too.

Re: Clothes Thread
I agree about the Calf hugging thing. I don't generally tight jeans, but I think jeans which are slightly tight suit me better.
This new chino trend interests me also.

Re: Clothes Thread
There's tight and then there's too tight. I don't like jeans that are tight on the thighs though, especially as I have hench thighs so they'd look absolutely ridiculous.
I'm glad chinos are in, I really like them.

Re: Clothes Thread
What you lot have said, same for me.
I prefer the Skinny Carrots to the Arc leg ones though, don't mind them with normal bottoms or the cuffed bottoms.
I like All Saints stuff but they're a bit expensive so I've only got a few tops from there. American Apparell hoodies are good. Quite a lot of people are starting to wear Adidas Original Jackets. I've got a navy and blue one and I like it. Loads of people have got Vans plimsolls now aswell. They're alright but mine hurt my feet and give me blisters so I prefer my Fred Perry plimsolls or my slip on Topman ones but they've got a hole in now Need to buy a new pair. They're the comfiest things i've ever worn for only £16

Re: Clothes Thread
I just went on a bit of a spree because I've not had any new clothes for months. Bought the following:
River Island:
(looks much better when worn and left open)
Topman:
Asos:
(reduced to £21)
I also think I'll try and find some more jeans and more shoes, either online or just in the shops.

I think they go with pretty much anything shirt wise. Perhaps something light rather than dark though.
Need to make sure you get the shoes right though, the way so many of them cuff at the end looks really stupid with the wrong shoes imo. I hate how people wear them without socks and toms, makes you look like a tit. When I buy some I think I'll probably wear them with desert boots and see how that looks.

Both. I prefer going on my own, It's easier on your own, but you feel like a sad act.

Re: Clothes Thread
Its awkward with mates if you're the only one buying clothes, espically if you need to try the clothes on

My mates are pretty gay, so most of the time they're willing to give advice on stuff . So I guess sometimes it helps.

I go on my own so I don't have to listen to my mates' input or opinions on things.
Or with my mum cos she suggests some pretty good things tbh, and pays for stuff

Re: Clothes Thread
I never actually get any shopping done if I'm with like more than 3 mates. One mate just used to walk up and down the main streets looking for fit girls.
I'm liking these new cardies this winter, not furry but like snug and woolly. I'll post a pic when River Island's working again.

I got a navy one from topman, does it have like a big neck type thing?
Anyone else shop online too? I usually buy shirts and knitwear online because you can take as long as you like and a medium is basically a guaranteed fit. Bit risky with shoes and jeans though, because you can never be sure on the fit.

Re: Clothes Thread
I used to do online shopping, don't bother now because my sixth form is in the city centre so all the shops are on my doorstep. Asos is the best place online.
My cardigan sounds kind of similar, it's brown coloured though.

Jackets/coats have always been a pain in the arse for me, for some reason I always struggle to find ones I like.
I think everyone should own a leather jacket (usually looks best with a non-leather hood. Not everyone likes leather jackets, but done right they look good) and a big cotton type coat, which I think looks best in dark grey or black. Other than that I'm not a big coat guy. I prefer layering stuff to stay warm. Also love a good blazer but not really a coat.

Yeah my cardie got like a big neck thing.
Get a shirt jacket Sean. I like the Superdry ones but they're too expensive for me atm, and I haven't found anywhere with similar, cheaper ones yet.

Good I can imagine him pulling a leather jacket off pretty nicely.
I don't look much like Pique though, wish I did.

I reckon we got the same one.
Oh I just remembered a really good jacket I bought, it's red check like that bit a bit of a nicer pattern imo. Has a nice grey hood too. Was from Zara, the only thing I've ever bought from there. If you have one near you look in there fore a jacket, my mate got one from there too which was pretty good.

Funnily enough I walked past Zara in town today and said to my mate that I haven't been in there for ages
Might go in after college some time next week and have a look

I got that. Also got a really nice grey jacket from there. I go in quite often now I've found these coats.
