I wish I knew how to make tactics, seems too complicated

My problem is that it changes in every version. Like in this one it seems the most important thing to do is make sure your wings are protected while really putting as much pressure on theirs as possible because for some reason wing players are exceptional in this version.

So how do I go about doing that exactly?

Damn good question. The match engine tends to ignore your tactical commands so nothing really works, but what I find works relatively OK at times is playing a 4-1-* system, where the DM and two CDs are on zonal marking, closing down in their own half. Man marking the wingers and man marking the fullbacks. 80% of the time the AI will use the fullbacks to start an attack, so if you can take them out of the game, I would assume that should help control the match. Problem is of course that most wingers can't be man marked, cause they are too quick. Believe me, I've tried.

Case in point, double marked both Dyer and Jarvis, they still dominate the game and score two goals.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
I beat City 4-3 before.
Was 3-1 before they scored twice in 4 minutes.
Rio won it in the 89th. Gave the old cunt a new contract for that.

Maybe every other team in the league has figured out your a one tactic team and has found a way to combat your inefficient tactic

When you download the facepack and then extract it, should I delete the original folder?

He's ridiculous on this.
Still came second behind van Persie for the European Golden Boot though in mine.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
3rd season done with Southampton and I finished 6th!
I have £25m and £1m p/w wages now, who should I buy? I'm fine upfront, sealed a new contract with Ramirez so that's good, CMs are fine cos I have Ward-Prowse, Cork, Schneridelin and Denilson. Might sign a few youth players to strengthen as back up and sign a better left-back, right-back and centreback.

Signed Handanovic on a free transfer. Will be a much better backup than that cunt Lindegaard.

I've signed Faurlin and Zaha too. Loaned out Zaha to West Brom, didn't have enough room in my squad.
