Better get them out of the way quickly, it would be similar to tactical chundering. Then try to enjoy the rest of the season.
It's weird to think how absolutely boring football would be without Suarez. Hopefully I'll be able to treat his next team as a second favourite team. As long as it's not in this league.

Better he leave just after his prime. Then we can net a tidy ten million profit and have a hundred goals in the wank bank.

Decent hoof from Gerrard but immaculate technique from Suarez.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Okay, so I watched his goal against Hearts for the first time. Much much much better than that justice the BBC text commentary gave him. I love how he's added accurate ground shots to his repertoire.
Also, if there were somehow a recorded statistic of the amount of players he's beat one-on-one, I'd love to see it.

Or the amount of nutmegs, he's surely done about 20 or 30 more than anyone else since January 2011.
Comfortable win against a very poor Sunderland side but you can only beat what's out in front of you I suppose. Lucas had his best game since he came back from injury, Gerrard was boss again, he's had a very good month. Henderson also impressed me, I'm not his biggest fan, but I think Rodgers is onto something using him in an advanced role. As we all know he's got a great engine and he really helps our pressing game, along with Suarez he sets the tempo for the pressing of defences, often allowing us to win the ball back further up the pitch. When we have Gerrard behind Suarez our pressing isn't as good, but with Henderson it's better. He's not as creative as Gerrard, which means we often have to work back to Stevie when we win it back, but there's signs showing me that Rodgers wants that midfield 3 to be very fluid when we have the ball, with Gerrard and Henderson especially rotating when we're in possession. The midfield is the most important of what Rodgers wants to do, and admittedly it's against some weaker sides but over the past month it has definitely improved a lot.
Defence was solid, Wisdom was good apart from one lapse of concentration which resulted in a brilliant stop from Pepe, something we haven't seen in a while. Glen Johnson is absolutely superb, wouldn't swap him for anyone in the league, love the man.
Sterling's finish was very good, showed composure, something he lacks sometimes. His overall play will improve in time, definitely a player there though. Downing had a decent game, put in some great crosses but that's still a position we should look at.
Suarez is unreal. 15 goals in the league, 18 in all comps, not bad for a side in 8th. Already beat his tally from last season. His overall game has improved this season, not just his finishing. He's snapped out of play acting and berating officials which has helped him massively. His work rate is fantastic as well, would be easy for someone of that ability to stroll around and not do the dirty work, but there's no chance of that with Suarez. He's an absolute god send.
I see Sunderland fans have been crying on Twitter, lying about Liverpool fans. There's a picture going round of a smashed window, apparently it's a Sunderland bus/coach which has been bricked by Scousers. Almost certainly a fake though, you can see a reflection in the gap that's supposedly smashed.
Last thing, is James McLean the worst footballer ever?

Yeah, I appreciate what Rodgers has done with Henderson and Downing, he's managed to make the most of a desperate twoesome and even give a tiny bit of hope of the fulfilling some of their potential.
Carroll I'm interested to see how it ultimately plays out.

Henderson has always tried hard though, it's just starting to pay off now. Downing is a confidence player and he's starting to get some back now..

Carroll has become the embodiment of all things shit, by being bought for more than Suarez. He can't ever rise from that.

We shouldn't be buying any one season wonders from the Championship. Especially ex academy players who couldn't make the grade here.samiz wrote:Does anybody really want Ince? I personally don't think he'd be worth it for £6m that Blackpool are apparently asking for

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Basically it just says that Suarez will go back to playing out wide with Sturridge playing through the middle i'm not sure about that being a good idea.
