Jason Lowe has been a good signing, bought him for like 1 million or somertihng in my first season, he's still a good bench player for me, scored the goal against Fenerbahce to send me to the last 16 of the Europa League. (I won it last season)

Giroud is a great impact striker, he's like my Dzeko.
My striker rarely scores, my impact sub gets like 30-40 league goals per season though. Not too fussed because that's my gameplan pretty much.

What on earth is an email? This must be some sort of newfound invention that old people from the 80s, such as myself, would be unable to comprehend.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Seems like a good plan. Replace Radoslav Kovac with the player who has just won the K-League Young Player Of The Year. He can play AM as well as CM so he will be good backup for Salah too.

thanks mfLaurencio wrote:kyro7 wrote:Brilliant stats for my players:
Robin's are sexy as fuck, if only he didn't pick up those few injuries to halt his appearances.
3 players with 20 assists, 6 players with 10 goals or more, that's what I'm talking about.
That's pretty insane. Congrats

Kyro, try playing Vidic as a solid defender and Phil Jones as a more adventerous CB you'd rape shit teams if that worked wlel.

I expect if things go the same as the second half of the season I'll rape the league next time around anyway and not have to just about win it like this time, but I won the treble so can't really complain lulz.crump wrote:Kyro, try playing Vidic as a solid defender and Phil Jones as a more adventerous CB you'd rape shit teams if that worked wlel.
I kinda want Smalling - Vidic as my partnership because I like Smalling more than Evans and Jones in real life, plus many times Jones played DM and was immense.

Kyro how is this Chilean kid doing for you? He's the highest rated player in my team in terms of potential, which is quite insane.

I didn't really give him a run out, I think I will this season in the Carling Cup, see how he does then maybe give him a chance in the league.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Yeah, his stats aren't all that fantastic, but that potential is interesting to say the least. He, Powell and Luke Shaw (whom I bought) will be the "surprise" backup players. Kagawa gets injured, Powell will be playing I reckon.
Edit:
Loving Luiz Gustavo. He's doing exactly what he's supposed to, shutting down every single attack without fail

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
I got bids of £5million from several Premier League clubs, for Lee Wallace. I'm in the 3rd Division, I saved and accepted just to see if it went through. It did, and the fans went fucking mental, saying I had sold him for a little fee etc.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Now is decision time, do I go into the market and purchase a couple of players or do I remain with my way of not buying players? If I did buy a player I don't know who it'd be I'm using Kagawa on the left advanced role, have Nani, Young and Valencia for the right and 2 of them can cover the left, I think I would purchase someone like Sandro to sit behind but I enjoy the Carrick and Cleverley partnership, and then Vidic was my best player and Smalling was very good with loads of backup, maybe a backup RB but that could be sorted with a simple return of Fabio.

I sent Buttner on loan and brought in Neil Taylor from Swansea, he's pretty much displaced Evra now

You said De Gea was shit? Well when I was playing on my Reading save, we were practically a one man team; Adam Federici - hardly anything went by him. Maybe you should take a look at him.
Phillip Degen expresses his concerns of not playing first team football, I give him a game and he gets a hattrick from RWB
