It's time for a new manager, Wenger has been just been dragging us down the past 3/4 years. The games against Bayern will probably be our last in the CL for a long time. Savour the moment chaps.

Do not worry, your ladies department will be bring the organization plenty of trophies shortly. They are in the champions league quarterfinals. The final will be held in London (Stamford Bridge) so you will not need to travel much to see the Champions League Final assuming they get there but things look promising.

I'm pleased with the performance. We played with heart and passion.

I love Wenger's press conferences. It's a shame some of our players don't have the fire and passion as he does.
You deserve better, Arsene.

It's also a shame Wenger is tactically inept and still doesn't know how to coach a team defensively.

Way too many ordinary/rubbish players at our club, next season the club will be at the same level as these players.

You're right.. just too many basic players.. then a handful of quality players that are really there to compliment world class players.
These quality players we have cannot carry a squad, obviously. Need those next level players, unfortunately we keep getting rid of them.

I don't think it's the players anymore. It's the management, it's got to be. We've had a couple of really good teams during the past eight years and they've all had the same faults. A lot of these players have really good qualities but none of them are winners, with the exception of Wilshere. They don't look motivated, they don't look organised, they're not ruthless up front and that's been the case for a long time. The manager is supposed to inspire these things and he hasn't. Today we actually had a lot more of the ball than Bayern did. To me, that indicates that there's quality in the side. But the fact of the matter is that we did very little with the ball and that's due to a lack of efficiency and intelligence.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Its one thing to have world class players leave but it is another to not aggressively be trying to replace them; at least from Arsenal's point of view any ways. I get the buy young and cheap and sell high, United does the same thing. The difference is when it is needed to stay at the top, they go get a legit top player to buy time for the youth to develop.
It looks like Arsenal is banking on Financial Fair Play being upheld to a high standard and are planning for the next decade under the new rules. If they are right, they will be in a good position but if they are wrong then it is going to be a Liverpool like fall from grace.
For the record, I hope they are right.

This.
Arsenal doesn't have an organization at all. Our defence always fail in the early stages of the game against big teams (i.e. Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Bayern).
We failed to sign a proper DM in last transfer window (M'Biwa, Diame, Sissoko, Capoue), so AW started with a lazy Ramsey (guilty for the 1st and 2nd Bayern's goals) vs. a team with 3 quick players - Kroos, Muller and Ribery.
Furthermore, AW benched Giroud and let Walcott fight between two stong defenders and one of them is just the best CB of Bundesliga.
ps.: what's going on with Vermaelen? I think Squillaci kidnapped him and is playing with his shirt.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
It's not the players its Wenger. His tactics have been very poor and his team choices are strange. Switching Cazorla and Ramsey for Bayern what's the point? Should have started Giroud instead of Ramsey and played him in the middle because Walcott was far too weak to play there. Apart from Wilshere he can't really get 100% out of any of our players. Should have signed Monreal or a new LB at the start of the season it was blatantly obvious we needed one since our only Premier League quality left back is incredibly injury prone. Failed to patch up the squad in January and just about signed a left back. He still persists in playing Gervinho as a striker.
Its time for him to move on.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
People still complaining about players like Chamakh, Squillaci, Bendtner etc, but these players haven't played for us for the last 2 seasons or so unless it's the Captial one cup. End of the day it's the poor/average players at our club that's dragged us to this position. First of all, why have we switched our players around to accomodate others who aren't as good in that position? Walcott isn't better up front than Giroud. Ramsey shouldn't be starting especially as it's pushing our best attacking midfield player in Cazorla to the wings which is stupid. Wilshere is a very good player, but is he really a better creator than Cazorla in the middle? No he isn't, he's better picking up the ball from deep playing next to Arteta who will sit and allow Wilshere to do so. We've gone back to this stage last season where we started playing midfielders on the wings (Ramsey last season and now Cazorla) How stupid is that of Wenger? Ramsey is unbelievably shit, should be sold or dispatched into the reserves. Why couldn't we have played Coquelin there who's a much better defensive player. Anyway the game's happened and we're out, honestly need Wenger sacked if we're to move forward. He will continue to play poor players like Mertesacker and Ramsey and then play our best players out of position. Koscielny's poor nowadays and Vermaelen's only good when partnered to a defender who can defend properly which we don't have anymore so our 3 centre backs are shit regardless of who's partnering who.
Look at all the top teams across the world when they concede a goal, at least 2 players are mad and shouting at the persons fault (Mainly the captain shouting). Look at us when we concede a goal, it's straight faces everywhere and no1's taking the responsibility to dig in at the person responsible for the goal. It seems like there's too many friends in our team and players afraid to criticise others. Vermaelen is meant to do that, but he clearly doesn't, as much as I defend and like him a lot (Many of you know). he doesn't deserve to be our captain, I would give it to Wilshere, but that's just a desperate plea for us saying stay. There's no leader at all. Wenger needs to go, had enough of him selecting and purchasing woeful players and bringing shit players from the academy who can't perform.

We're at home, even Robben stated in the interview after the match that what they feared most was us coming out the blocks firing, it was the complete opposite. We play 5 midfielders at home? Really 4 as one of them shouldn't be a footballer.

It's as if AW has no pre match preparation, I doubt they study opposition film. I doubt they prepare specifically for opposition threats. He goes into a game against Bayern the same way he goes in against a team like Sunderland or Stoke. He never changes his stupid fucking formation to adapt to opponents strengths.
2nd, his signings have progressively gotten worse. Ligue 1 is supposed to be his bread and butter, yet Newcastle has signed better players out of that league over yor club for two years running and for cheaper prices.
3rd, deflection, never his fault never his players fault always the opposition playing too well or not fair or the referee. He coddles his players, I truly believe no starter or that team fears the bench the way anyone under SAF does.
4th, I do feel bad that you have a useless owner contributing nothing, every single team he owns (Denver Nuggets NBA, Colorado Avalanche NHL, St. Louis Rams NFL) all haven't reached a final in their sports since 01. The guy seems to own teams for what reason I don't even know.
Wenger out? Why not... It has to happen sometime. And there are plenty of available managers, Pelligrini, Moyes, R. Martinez , L. Blanc, Ancelotti if Mourinho goes to PSG
It's time for the supporters to put pressure on Stan and AW
