Why do Arsenal fans hate Ashley Cole for demanding £60k a week and leaving because Arsenal wouldn't pay him but love Theo Walcott for demanding £100k a week and only staying because Arsenal decided to pay him? If Arsenal hadn't agreed to his wage demands would you have hated him too?

That's not entirely true though is it? He always stated he wanted to stay at Arsenal and didn't whore himself out like Cole. Wenger also believes in people fulfilling their contract out, and even stated that Walcott isn't going anywhere even if he didn't sign.

Cole sold his soul to nearly doubling his wages whilst Walcott only went up on 20k - 30k or so because he knew he could hold the club to ransom, Cole knew the best paid player before those roaches came into Football was on around about 120k. I think even Henry was on 100k because when we offered Cesc our highest ever offer it was 120k I think. It's very different
