It has grown a lot in the passed 5 or so years tbf. With the arrival of Beckham and Henry it definitely became more popular, and now more expansion teams.

This is why we need a Fall-Spring season.

Probably would be for the better, but attendance would most likely drop a bit for a while, Garber won't go for it.

What is the reason we don't have one? Just because there's too many sports then?

Not too sure. I've grown fond of the summer season though.

MLS should start the season earlier, aim for the MLS Cup between the golden period of post World Series but pre-Thanksgiving.

We've trade Maund for Justin Braun. Maund is probably the worst defender I've ever seen play professionally, so I'm alright with that.

Man... I really hope we don't fuck up our first pick. The good thing with first picks is that the media helps a lot with your scouting since they'll be doing all that "who'll be going top 5!" shit. It's just so depressing looking back at past drafts and seeing who we could have drafted, especially in 2009 or 2010 we had like the 2nd overall pick and I don't even remember what the fuck we wasted it on.

Before Beckham came and TFC was made I had hardly heard of MLS and many others had never heard of it. It has come along way so far.

We've traded Kosic and Johnson for Portland's 1st round pick (3rd overall). So we have the 1st and 3rd overall picks... We better not waste them...

Maybe, maybe not. Those were two fairly dead weight players (though both were starters last year). Johnson's going to have Koevermans, Hassli, Silva, and possibly Amarikwa ahead of him for the ST place, and it looks as though we'll be playing 4-4-2 from now on so I doubt we'd play him out wide very often, even then he still has Lambe, Avila, Silva, Weideman, and others to compete with. Kosic was our starting GK last year only because Frei was injured all of last season, and we have him back now as well as Freddy Hall to play back-up.

Would really like to see us take both picks though, we'd just either be incredibly unlucky or incredibly stupid not to get a good young talented player.

We've used our first overall pick on Danny Califf. It helps our defensive struggles at the back. But adds to our lack of pace and aging squad problems.

Don't know how I feel about this, will have to see him play.

Juninho --> New York. Roy Miller still on free kick duty come playoff time. By the way, Juninho also already has experience in losing to D.C. United, so he'll fit right in. Juninho started on the Vasco da Gama side that lost to United in the Copa Interamericana in 1998.

38 before he kicks a ball in anger for the Red Bulls. But apparently his legs were good for like 45 games in Brazil this year, and a decent haul of goals and assists.

Juninho Juninho, i.e. Juninho Pernambucano, not Juninho (Paulista)

Red Bull fans should just copy the chant Lyon fans made for him.
