That would be a great signing for them.

Unless he's going to be starting regularly, which I very much doubt as he's not ready yet ... it would be a pointless move for him, probably only stalling his development. Going to somebody like celtic where he'd be playing week in, week out would be much better for him. I suppose there's always the option of Everton loaning him out for a season.

Always managing to find ways to snipe away at Celtic aren't you? Is he better than Hooper? Is he better than Commons? Is he better than Forrest? Is he better than Samaras? No. Even Stokes is probably better.

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
Huh? I was referring to him staying in the SPL, where he is currently playing well.
Anyway, you guys want him.
Maestro always talks him up and doesn't understand why you haven't went for him. Thinks he'd be a great player for you.
How am I taking a dig? I just said he was promising.

You inferred that he wasn't good enough for Everton but that he would walk into our team. That's bollocks. I don't think we need him, although I like him.

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
I didn't say he'd start, I said he'd get regular game time week in week out. This is how arguments start, you being too defensive. Don't think of every post as a personal vendetta against either you, or your club.

Gio to play in Real Madrid then.
I have to admit I am wondering who our next great player will be who will be swooped from a bigger club. I think Bale is the obvious answer but I could also see Kaboul, Sandro, and Assou-Ekotto getting swooped up in a few years possibly.

He wasn't really inferring that...... Anyway, are you trying to say that Celtic are just as good, if not better than Everton?ConorCelticFC wrote:You inferred that he wasn't good enough for Everton but that he would walk into our team. That's bollocks. I don't think we need him, although I like him.

With the side they can put out, something's seriously wrong if they go down.

I think it's good enough to fairly comfortably stay up, whether or not they will..Theo Filippo wrote:Not really, their team isn't that good.
They certainly have players that won't stay around for long if they are relegated.

They have a few players who have a lot of experience like Bosingwa and Cisse but their team isn't particularly outstanding I doubt they will go down anyway I think Stoke, Norwich and Reading will.

I hope QPR go down with half their squad being average money seeking bellends and their average manager who has a cock for a head.
Hopefully we can say adios to Stoke, QPR and Aston Villa with the sacking of fat Sam

Stoke will not go down, every year people say Stoke's going down, they play a style that is so difficult to play against I don't see them going down for years to come.

No they don't. Teams are improving with the ball now rather than going up against Stoke trying to thug it out and I think Stoke will struggle to adapt to that.fluffy_kittens wrote:Stoke will not go down, every year people say Stoke's going down, they play a style that is so difficult to play against I don't see them going down for years to come.

I can see Villa going down. Haven't really signed anyone of note I don't think, Bent's their only real goalscorer and doesn't appear to be getting much service.

Every single year everyone says "Stoke down" and they are never down. Teams that are good with the ball are the ones who struggle against Stoke the most.

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
We're not bad with the ball and we've only dropped 2 points against them since they got promoted...
Saying that, we haven't exactly had it easy at their place like we have at home.

They play unlike any other team in the prem. I know it's kinda boring but people need to stop trash talking them and realize they are playing the way they need to to stay up. I admire Stoke alot.

Last Sunday was the easiest game we've had at their stadium, I would say it's a lot to do with us having the height and strength this time round though, others might see it as Stoke not fully turning up.
