I wouldn't get so down just yet, Rogers is new and once the players learn his philosophy I'm sure you'll be right up there. Cheer up you miserable cunts.

I don't think it'll last long tbh (Clarke being good), never particularly liked him ... not that I dislike him.
I've not seen the game yet, but I gather that the sending off pretty much ended the game, people also saying that both penalties were soft.
Not to worry anyway, only the first game of the season.

At least I can watch Frankie Boyle instead now that we've lost.

but we still played extremely well and tactics were spot on, before the red card liverpool weren't getting that many opportunities to score, so its not like they wouldve definately scoredJelavić7|EFC wrote:I don't think it'll last long tbh (Clarke being good), never particularly liked him ... not that I dislike him.

Re: Fictional football match: Episode 1
"Extremely well"?
I'd say it was pretty even until the red card. The first goal was good, the red card shouldn't have been a red card, the second goal shouldn't have been, and the third was inevitable considering we were going into meltdown at that point. It's not like we were truly outclassed. However, we were totally fucked by the ref.

Re: Fictional football match: Episode 1
wait. We did play extremely well. I hate it when results like this come out and everyones focus is "liverpool played shit, referee is a disgrace " etc. And dont focus on the brilliant team performance by us
