Hmmm I think I understand the movie but that explanation is confusing. Are Sid and Cid the same person?

I would like to see this again.

Yeah sorry I thought it was Sid but read it as Cid in the credits and now I don't know what to call him. Neutral

Finally got round to watching Inglorious Basterds, really good, maybe not as amazing as I thought it would be but thats probably just because of how hyped up it was.

The Expendables 2 - I enjoyed the all-star cast. Aside from that, I thought the storyline was pretty weak and the dialogue throughout was awful. 5/10

    Prometheus. 6/10

It's a shame because it had that epic feel to it at the beginning. There are far too many "Why did they just do that" schoolboy error's in it too. It did have me on edge however but I always watch these kind of movies in the dark and i'm a phaggot for them.

6/10 sounds about right.. had so much potential.. but really left me hanging on a lot of stuff... waiting and waiting for that intense moment.. or those moments that i wanted to go 1 step further.

    Taken 2 - 8/10

Very good but imo the first one is better.

Good stuff, he has a very nice style. I always feel really warmly towards the characters for some reason.

I do too. Some people tend to complain that they struggle to connect with his characters because they have an almost unrealistic level of quirkiness but I've never had a problem with that. I've always found them quite endearing. I think Fantastic Mr. Fox is the one movie of his that everyone has unanimously praised and I do think it's because it's an animated piece of fiction so it's not possible to criticise the characters for being unrealistic.

    Taken 2 5/10

Decent film but the fact it was a 12A let it down massively. How can you have a revenge film with no blood (except for scratches and shit).

    Ill Manors 8/10

Brilliant film form Plan B. Not much else to say. Quite original with Plan B's songs telling you about their life. Good story as well, how they all link together.

They were both rated PG-13 (which I'm guessing is apparently the equivalent of a 12A in the UK?). I've heard that criticism quite a lot, too.

I've not even seen the first one, so I've no idea, but when I've looked for it's DVD, I've only found a "harder cut" rated 18. Can't see it going from 12A to 18 just for that. think

IMDB said the first was a 15.

It was a lot more graphic anyway. This is like a kids film. There's a scene near the end which is cringeworthy, he kills or knocks one guy out (I can't remember, there's not much difference anyway) by stroking his jaw when he's lying down.

Not the worst of all time, but I'm glad someone else things it's a God awful movie. I remember mentioned this in this thread the first time I watched the movie and I got abused.
