Also the music is amazing.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - 8/10.
Visuals are stunning and Martin Freeman's performance as Bilbo is fantastic, he made the character very likeable. Personally I felt that the film was really well paced. Every character had enough screen-time and the closing sequence was a perfect conclusion of the first part of the story. However, the film doesn't really feel like Tolkien.

Childish Logic wrote:The hobbit: long and added too much, which wasn't in the book but was still pretty good. I got a headache from the fast frame rate but the people i was with were fine.

Yeah he was good. Sometimes left those huge pauses comically long when talking to Carey Mulligan's character, but that may have been down to the direction.Keanoo wrote:ayvee1 wrote:Drive. Enjoyed it.
One of my favourite ever movies, Ryan Gosling is just magnificent in it.
