Depressing and entertaining.

- Spoiler:
- I thought the whole dwarf obsession was a bit random, but I loved the way they tied it in at the end.

I don't really care about Star Trek that much but this is a pretty great trailer.

Garden State - Watched this after reading about the whole thing with Zach Braff and the Kickstarter project. Was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Hope Braff gets to do his second film.

Indie Game: the Movie: 8/10. Really interesting documentary.

It's already met its funding goal. Ergo, it will go into production.ayvee1 wrote:Garden State - Watched this after reading about the whole thing with Zach Braff and the Kickstarter project. Was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Hope Braff gets to do his second film.

Star Trek Into Darkness - Can come off as pretentious at times, but an enjoyable blockbuster, nonetheless.
That Cumberwhatever guy does a good job.

I need to see if the buzz around that guy is justified.

It also has Bilbo in it, so it's solid. I still give Luther the edge, though.

Ugh...The Hobbit. I thought it was all right. Thorin kicked a lot of ass, but it upset me how they portrayed Radagast as the burnt out crackpot, who had one too many bad LSD trips in his life.

Bilbo and Smaug. I think I'd have to give Sherlock a slight edge over Luther but I hold both in very high regard.

@Juve I wasn't a fan of the animation. I think it was Eternal who always complained that the dwarves are always used as comic relief instead of the fearless fighters that they are.
Smaug. Not one of BeneLAD's defining roles.Ra's al Ghul wrote:Moriarty wrote:It also has Bilbo in it, so it's solid. I still give Luther the edge, though.

It's a tough call, simply because Luther's second season was a bit weak. Sherlock is probably a bit more consistent, but I don't think it comes anywhere close to the brilliance of the final 2/3 episodes in the fist season of Luther.
