Your fans are so hooligans, I'd be ashamed to be a Bury fan.ShakerMatty wrote:Did anyone see that Theo Paphitis program on Millwall then? We broke some toilets..

If you were a Bury fan you'd think nothing of it. It's just you think that from an outside perspective.Trent wrote:Your fans are so hooligans, I'd be ashamed to be a Bury fan.ShakerMatty wrote:Did anyone see that Theo Paphitis program on Millwall then? We broke some toilets..

I'm not bragging, it was 12 years ago.. Millwall fans broke their own toilets as well which was quite idiotic.

You seem to brag about a lot of things Bury do. I recall you bragging about your fans being the worst in League One or something like that.ShakerMatty wrote:I swear this forum has got really soft if you think that's bragging.

Speaking of Brian Laws, he's a bit like the Knill of Scunny, he's heavily linked with Bury lol.

Any Championship fans here no anything about him? The list of clubs he's played for alone sounds extremely exciting.
Was shit for us. Wasted £1M

We have Yeovile in the JPT. We already played them in pre-season and draw 1-1. Quite confident we'll win this time round. Gary Johnson will relive his losses as Bristol City and Northampton boss against us.

Re: npower Football League Thread
Peterborough away tomorrow then. Sold out last season, over 5k despite the 12.30pm KO. Won't manage this time though mainly cause Rhinos are in the Challenge cup final at Wembley and a lot of people who support both may choose to go down to that. Plus, Yorkshire CC are in their first ever (I think) Twenty20 finals day so people might also be off to that. Still hopefully get at least 4k there though!

Re: npower Football League Thread
Bury FC can confirm that an unnamed club today placed an offer for David Worrall.
Chairman Brian Fenton commented; “I can confirm that the club has today received a derisory offer for David Worrall.
When it first arrived I actually thought it was a joke. David is a contracted Bury player with two years left on his contract, we want him here, and as he commented just a few days ago he is extremely happy to be at Gigg Lane.
We object to clubs trying to unsettle our players and if David is ever to leave us in the future we would hope it is to a club that matches his undoubted talent.”
Best statement I've read for a long time.

McGhee.McGhee, meanwhile, has activated his German contacts to bring former Bayern Munich stopper Bernd Dreher over to coach Rovers' goalkeepers for the next fortnight.
Dreher has worked under McGhee's former Hamburg teammate Felix Magath and the manager said: "Bernd has come over to help us out for a couple of weeks.
"He has great experience and is rated as one of the top three goalkeeping coaches in Germany.
"He's worked with Champions League players and will bring a fresh approach and way of doing things to our goalkeepers."
