Superb news on Suarez, Skrtel and Agger. Thank fuck Rodgers speaks Spanish and most importantly; sense.

I am not a Liverpool fan,But I find it really odd if Rodgers is really going to put Carrol out to pasture?
Are the Liverpool owneres about to buy Inesta?isTorres coming back? or maybe they are going for Renaldo? I sincererly doubt it.
as
it stands currently Liverpool are at best a mid table PL team.they need
some really top notch players to get anywhere near the top 4 or 5

I think he'll do very well, he's complete opposite of Dalglish, modern, progressionist, tactically astute, good playing philosophy. I think it might take a while but I think there will be steady improvement under him.

Apparently it's more of a gentlemen's agreement, if someone bid 6m and we bid 7m they're not gonna turn it down are they?Harrold wrote:I thought Rodgers agreed not to sign from Swansea in the first season?Mouse wrote:Joe Allen anyone?

That's actually a good team Cadbury posted, but I haven't heard anything about Ramirez for several days running now. A front 3 of Suarez, Borini, and Ramirez would be pretty sweet. Plus there's two Zs in there.
Don't want to get rid of Carroll though. Our luck, we would get rid of him and he would just explode with goals.

Only reason not to get rid of Carroll is that you'll never get close to what you paid for him so might as well just keep him.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Haha yeah Jord it was just a joke.
There's talk that Dempsey will sign for us tonight. I must say, even though he's arguably America's best player, I don't think I want him at LFC. He's probably not good enough, and where would he play.
There's also talk of us looking at Allen from Swansea. While I am tired of us basically just looking at fucking Swansea players, a lot of the guys on TLW think he's a good player and could go on to be a great player. Probably north of 10 mill quoted there, and we'd have to shift some of our shitty midfielders.
The real question here is if we have really signed Borini, is he any good on FIFA?

Would be a good thing to get one of the good young German players. Not sure about Kuba though
He's Polish and all German players are Polish anyway.

I really dislike Dempsey, he's a good player, but he seems to be arrogant, also there was that incident with Bellamy where he was being a cunt.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Apparently Jordan Ibe has been impressing the most in preseason training, which is pleasing to know.
Also looks like Carroll is deffo off. Journos saying we have been contacting clubs, looking to get rid of him sharpish.
Also Telegragh saying we could be signing Borini for £11 million tomorrow.

Thought they said Carroll wont be back from vacation for another 10 days.
I wouldn't sell him, but if we do then we're going to have to buy another striker, in addition to Borini. And maybe another if Bellamy is off.
I wouldn't sell him, you just know we're going to get shit money and as soon as we sell him he's going to start scoring all the time.

I played on the wing yesterday and I was tearing it up, I'm pretty sure I could easily cut it in the EPL

One of the reasons Carroll could go is his attitude to training, Dave Rydings put a test in place where ever weight was lifted (each rep)...
And each movement was measured, so in the first month he was asked to present his findings to the Sports Science team, Hendo was top.....With 12,600 reps, Bellamy second with 12,450 reps, Gerrard 3rd with 12,300 reps the lowest was say 11,000, then there was Carroll with.....
Literally 180 reps, it was embarrassing yet Kenny did nothing about it. There are loads of stories about how the players walked over Kenny.
Got one more #LFC training story, involving Charlie Adam for you...
Charlie Adam faked an injury and Kenny bought it even though Sports Science team said he couldn't be injured....
So he goes on holiday to Dubai for 5 days during the season (we didn't have a game) and Carroll turns up for training and says where's.....
Charlie?' So it's explained he's injured and has gone on holiday. Carroll turns and says 'can I go on holiday then?' he's told, 'no, not....
My call' so Carroll phones Kenny and says 'Listen Charlie's gone on hol, can I go away?' Kenny is on the golf course and says 'Yeah ok'.....
Carroll fucks off there and then so later the Doc is doing some work with Maxi, Gerrard, Carra and Downing. Gerrard asks 'where is Andy?'...
Doc cringed and told the story and the players were laughing (angry laughing) saying Kennys weak as piss, Carra then turns and says 'I've..
Been at this club for 16 years and you know how many holidays I've took mid season? None! This is why were a laughing stock! Would Fergie...
Take that shit??!! This caused a bit of shit for weeks. Before Christmas. #LFC
