Sturridge, what an absolute wasteman.
At least Cleverley and Giggs stuck them away.

South Korea did a favour to Team GB.
Team GB would be raped if match Brazil in semis.

I didn't realise it was better to lose in the quarters than in the semis and have a possible shot at bronze.jaq bauwer wrote:South Korea did a favour to Team GB.

Yeah, it's a massive favour to be denied the chance of winning a medal. Cheers Korea.jaq bauwer wrote:South Korea did a favour to Team GB.

Re: Football at the 2012 Olympics
Just switched over to catch the penalties. Told my brother that i hope Daniel Sturridge isn't kicking one, turns out he did and that went as i thought, something about him (Maybe that a Britsh Chelsea player shouldn't kick last )
I feel what ive watched of the tournament the level haven't been that high this year, Brazil have been impressive in moments, but i enjoyed Argentina in 2008 far more.

Isn't it something like you can't stop your run up completely?ahlycotc wrote:Cam wrote:No-one fucking does the Stuttershot anymore, cos it doesn't work

If it's properly banned they clearly don't give a fuck.

I swear it's only just before you strike the ball?

Re: Football at the 2012 Olympics
The rule is once you begin your run, you can't stop before kicking the ball. It used to be allowed before the 2010 World Cup.
I wonder if it applies in the Olympics though, because technically it's not a FIFA competition.

Balotelli does it every time he takes a penalty, don't know about internationally though.

Just saw that if the Koreans win a medal, they'll all be exempted from their 2 year military service. Talk about motivation.
