Carroll could possibly be on a loan move to AC Milan. I personally think he could do really well for any team in Italy. Physical presence is a big plus in Serie A.

Other mediocre players..Really think they'll struggle for CL.
The ones I see qualifying for CL are Juve Inter and Roma..Maybe Napoli but they lost Lavezzi.

Rei Andros wrote:Yeah, it was. He had a shocker overall though.
He was 3/3 on key passes though, best for Roma on the day. Not that it makes up for his poor performance, but at least the final one went for the assist on the equalizer. Not sure why he had a poor game, he had been doing fine in the preseason (evidenced by his start in the opener), and isn't adapting to a new league now. I think it's more of a one off than anything else.

Why was Bradley so under-used at Villa? Seeing their midfield now with Bannan and Herd starting they would kill for a player of Bradley's experience and quality.

They've also loaned out Makoun for 2 years straight which I find weird.

Not a clue. It didn't make much sense when Houillier didn't play him. They said it was a problem with him adjusting to the speed of the game, but that didn't really make much sense. I think he just wasn't Houillier's style of player, though I think he could have helped Villa some that season.
But what made even less sense is when McLeish came in and took over and sent Bradley back to Germany. McLeish had actually landed Bradley after the 08-09 season (I believe), but Michael didn't move there because the deal was contingent on Birmingham staying up that season, which did they did not. So why McLeish didn't want him last year (when he had grown much more as a player) is beyond me.
I did say at the time when Bradley moved to England that he would have been better off in Italy though. Palermo was sniffing around when Villa and Sunderland were, but I thought for the betterment of his game, a move to Italy was the right choice. I feel that's been vindicated after his season with Chievo, where he quickly became a cog in their midfield despite signing just before the summer deadline. He's become our most important midfielder in the US set up (to me), and I think a lot of that has to do with his development in the Netherlands and Italy.

He's nothing special, and when it comes to a strikers most important job - Finishing, he's not very good at it.

Re: Serie A 12/13
It's not necessarily a striker's job. Cassano will be a massive loss to them despite his profligacy. I've always seen Bojan as more of a wide forward anyway. In the right team he could be hugely effective and he's got far more to him than Cuenca and Tello.

AC Milan have sold less than 15,000 Season Tickets.
A lot of people were given a refund when Ibra & Thiago left.

Inter. He went on a massive rant against Galliani when he left.
