Modric was the 6th best player with the most successful passes this season with 2215, I'd really love for us to get him, he's a class player but I think it's Chelsea who will get him.

I'm curious, how do clubs decide when to swoop in for a player. For instance, Chelsea were linked to Hulk for around 2 seasons now. They could have gone for him in 4 other earlier transfer windows. Why now? Why not a year ago? He certainly could have helped the team on to even greater things.
