And technically there isn't. It can differ from referee to referee until FIFA actually makes a rule against it.

The situation described rarely happens anyways.

Of course it rarely happens, because any referee with common sense will disallow the goal.

I'm pretty sure you are the only referee in the world who would look at a goal like that and think "Yeah, that's fine, goal". Watching the matches you referee would be some spectacle if the players knew about your weird ideas.

If a player dives in his own box, is it a penalty to the opposition team?

    No, indirect free kick.

The keeper comes up for the corner in the 90th minute but the opponent striker wins the ball and then shoots from his own half into the open goal, the keeper tries to run back to save it but he realise he's not going to make it so he takes off his boot, throws it and it lands on the line and stops the ball.

Is that cheating or would the game just carry on?

    Wtf.

Not only is that random, but I asked the exact same thing a few months ago, when I made an identical thread.

I'm not arguing whether it should be allowed or not. I've also never said that I would personally allow a goal to stand like that (I would have probably disallowed it and come up with something like unsporting behavior). I can totally understand it being disallowed for unsporting behavior. The issue was you saying it was a dangerous play. And a player cannot commit a foul against a teammate. I was also pointing out that FIFA did not have a specific rule against using your teammates as a launch pad.

    Evra was, not Hernandez.

I swear Moscow found some ruling on your boot being off that proved the red giving Bilbao a free kick for it was bollocks, but anyway..

Players are supposed to wear shinguards, socks, shoes, jersey, and shorts. If they don't have either one of those on during the game, they can be booked.

If the ref somehow intentionally shoots the ball into the goal in disgust what is given?

If the ball was in play, a goal. But that would probably be the last time he referees.

Drop ball from where the ball was when the sprinklers came on.

Wrong, they can be removed from the pitch. Not a red card, but not allowed to come back on without them.

No. If they intentionally take them off during the game or come on as a sub without them, they can be booked (not red carded).

Why don't they do it when defending a goal? surely no one could score if everyone stood in the goal?

Not necessarily. The other team would go have shot after shot on goal because there would be no defenders. You could just shoot it really hard in the top corner and it would go in over the defenders' heads or deflect off someone. Plus, that's just disgraceful.
