Hulk isn't a signing I'd make though, if he does go to Chelsea.

I think Roman is right to strengthen like this now, if they didn't then they could be in danger of missing out on the top 4 again without having the CL to get qualification that way.
Hulk isn't a signing I'd make though, if he does go to Chelsea.

I read 100k post tax, which is 150k pre-tax.

That means he's on 200k a week if he's getting 100k post tax, obviously.

No it probably will be about 170k p/w, 50% tax only applies on earnings above a certain amount I think. Up till then he will still get taxed a fair bit on it, but not 50%.

Hazards wages are bigger than your transfer budget. Same with us really.ShakerMatty wrote:I thought he was going to come to Bury after ESPN's tweet.

I swear it's like 70k+ a year that gets 50% tax, so that would only be a tiny tiny portion of his wages is safe from it.

Btw this is where I read 100k post tax, just so I'm not a no-source-providing-phaggot.

Even wealthy people only get a small no tax allowance. Like the first £70k is 20% and that's for the year. From what I have read.

Imagine if he flops I don't think he will though, looking forward to see him in the Premier league.

Yeah after 100k income a year you pay 50%, so he'll be earning like around 85k if that were true

He is a great player but there's obviously the chance of him flopping. Look at Torres who was already established in the PL.

I'm glad he joined Chelsea. An ass like him deserves to join a club like Chelsea.

The fuck? Lol no. Him going to Chelsea instead of the Manchester clubs is exactly what all the clubs not named Manchester would want. Chelsea..the non threat compared to other clubs.

I agree. If he had gone to either Manchester club it would just be even more a 2 team league.N wrote:Rick Rosstrich wrote:
