Would imagine City would have offered him similar wages. He may have been guaranteed playing time and position there, which sort of shows the manager doesn't decide those things at Chelsea (unless RdM has agreed to stay on and it's a super secret deal).

I doubt RdM is the permanent CFC manager, it would have been confirmed by now. Next manager now simply has to play Hazard even if he is in his plans or not to not upset Abrahmovic.
