You seem a little irritable, El indian. You got some sand in your vagina?El_indian wrote:Skrtel only does well in a deep lying defence. If he played for Arsenal where they sit halfway up the park he would get ripped apart like the rest of them.

Stop what wanting a manager too get more time and at least another season to see if he can improve things, And Wilmer is a complete cunt having a go and making things like winding up Dalglish and adding JFT96 as if its all one big joke.Cadbury wrote:Alan, stop it, it's been an awful season and Wilmer's right.

Two cups finals is not a bad start and now its up for Dalglish and the players to turn the League form into points, what do you want to keep sacking managers if things dont workout in one full season. Have a reality check Liverpool were in a terrible place and yes we have spent big money but hopefully Carroll can hopefully keep this form up he has showed recently and hopefully the youngters can keep improving like Henderson and Shelvey and maybe things can look up with a few more arrivals.

Jesus christ.
When you become my age, hopefully you can still have a laugh and a wind up in life and maybe not take certain things so serious, Its actually allowed you know. And im glad that when i was your age i was nothing like you and i never spent half my life on a football forum. But then again whats that got to do with me, I would say its got absolutely nothing to do with me.NZG wrote:Alan......

He's been with you for a year and half, granted that's not very long but at a top club that's under preforming it is. He's managed to go backwards with his results, surely you'd rather he went now than continue to take you down (I'm not saying that will happen).Alan wrote:Harrold wrote:Alan's just being loyal to his hero. I think you will find you are wrong and i will repeat this once again ive never said he is the going to be the man to take Liverpool to the next level. I just think any manager needs time, and any team needs time to bring in a lot of players and get them all playing well in the same team and also get results. And i think he has made mistakes in the players he bought but next season for me we will find out if some off these players are up to the job and ive got major doubts about some off them but im hoping Carroll can show his true form and the youngters like Henderson and Shelvey can show they are better players than what some people think.
And if you can get me Mourinho as manager tomorrow i would be very happy and there is other managers out there who could maybe do a better job, but things in football do take time and too keep sacking managers does not mean things always workout. But i would take Alex fekin Ferguson as manager if he could make Liverpool succesful. And there is not other manager i would want to be succesful other than Dalglish but its Liverpool football club i want to be succesful and if that means Dalglish not being manager well i would be happy with that.
Liverpool fc success >>>>>> Dalglish success
Well we are not going to get Jose or Fergie but i was just saying i would not care who came in and made Liverpool succesful. And maybe i would give Dalglish more time than others but ive stuck up for other managers through my time in watching football and Rafa Benitez was one and i think if he had more cash to spend in his time at Liverpool especially after we finished 2nd in the league i think he could have done a better job.Harrold wrote:He's been with you for a year and half, granted that's not very long but at a top club that's under preforming it is. Sure, who wouldn't want to say Mourinho or Fergie as their clubs manager. It makes sense that you'd want two of the most successful coaches in the game today.
I wasn't disputing that.
I never said you would get them? I don't know if you stuck up for other managers, I've only been here since Dalglish took charge. I do agree on that Benitez may have won the league if he had more money but let's not forget he did win the Champions League on the same budget, it can't just be the budget that was the problem.Alan wrote:Well we are not going to get Jose or Fergie but i was just saying i would not care who came in and made Liverpool succesful. But yes Liverpool have had some bad results but i have seen this before Souness came in and changed things too quick, and never got good enough players in for the players he sold and he admitted this himself. But Liverpool had a worse season than this one with Souness over a 42 game league season and we also won nothing that year. And maybe Kenny has not got what it takes to take Liverpool back to where we all want them to be and where some people think we should be and yes he spent big cash, But he was also out of the games for what over 10 years and yet in his first full season back he wins a cup and gets us to another cup final.
And well now its all about getting some of this cup form into the League games and getting better results. and im not silly and niether is Kenny, and if it does not happen he wont be here much longer as Liverpool's manager.

On the whole, no. You have one of the best defences in the league and have one of the better players in Suarez. Doesn't stop Liverpool being a top club. When you signed the likes of Downing they weren't bad additions, at least not on paper. But that doesn't stop the fact the Liverpool are a big club.El_indian wrote:Harrold wrote:He's been with you for a year and half, granted that's not very long but at a top club that's under preforming it is. Do you consider our players 'top club' material?
Have we really been under-performing or do we just have sub-par players?
These are important questions..

Same answer really, you have a solid defence. You create a lot of good chances, you just don't seem to finish them. A little more strengthening and you'd have a squad that should be top four contenders, like you expected this year.
Don't know why I wrote that twice.El_indian wrote:Harrold wrote:On the whole, no. You have one of the best defences in the league and have one of the better players in Suarez. In terms of commercial revenue & brand awareness, yes, we still are a 'big club'.
Though results on the pitch certainly don't suggest it; and that's where it matters, right?
Pretty mediocre atm.
