I can't believe he won the award over Luis Suarez.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Gervinho can beat his man and constantly makes good runs just needs to get some chemistry with the players, its only his first season. Walcott is in his 6th season and useless 90% of the time.Mr. Kurtz wrote:Chris wrote:
Hopefully Gervinho and Chamberlain both start the remaining games. I rate them over Theo.
How can you rate Gervinho over Walcott? Walcott's been twice the player this season. Gervinho was poor before the African Cup of Nations and he's become utterly atrocious ever since coming back from it. I don't think Walcott's very good but I still think he's put in good shifts this season and played well at times. It annoys me how little respect he gets from Arsenal fans.
BTW V.Persie said at the PFA awards he will be discussing a new contract with Wenger in the next few weeks.

Walcott isn't useless 90% of the time and Gervinho is just plain shit. I'm not normally that critical of players but my god, he is absolute dog shit.

Yes, you and Fonseca deserve a round of applause for pointing out how shit he actually is. I must have watched his best games for Lille because I somehow came to the conclusion that he was decent. Makes me sick just seeing his face now.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I completely disagree.
Walcott scores and assists now and then but loses the ball or hits it into row Z or out for a throw most of the time. I dont blame him because he is not a wide man but my god he is a pile of shit there.

Can we just agree that we're a 1 man team and the rest of the squad is shit?

I think I compared Gervinho to a slightly better Kalou at some point around the beginning of the season.. he's arguably just as bad.

What does Gervinho do that Walcott doesn't? Gervinho is Walcott without the end product.

I'm not even joking when I say this but I think I'd be just as happy with Eboue playing left wing..

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
You complain that Walcott's crosses and passes never reach their intended target and that he hits row Z, well at least he manages to deliver some sort of cross. Gervinho just runs straight into defenders, literally just runs into them, and loses the ball every single time. I don't think he's beaten his marker a single time since coming back from the African Cup of Nations.

I would be more than happy. I would fucking Love Eboue back, I miss his shenanigans.Rick Rosstrich wrote:Theo Filippo wrote:It upsets me so much when I see Juan Mata for Chelsea.

That is what does my head in about him most. He thinks he can physically run through players. I don't know if he thinks his head can be used as a battering ram or what.

Takes on fullbacks and has better passing, he comstantly gets into dangerous positions off his own back unlike Theo. Will be good when he learns the other players games.Rick Rosstrich wrote:Chris wrote:I completely disagree.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Gervinho's passing is absolutely shocking, as wasteful as Walcott is he's our most productive forward behind Van Persie and links with him better than anyone else in the squad.

Its took Theo 6 years to make one cross every 5 games to RvP. Pathetic.Theo Filippo wrote:Gervinho's passing is absolutely shocking, as wasteful as Walcott is he's our most productive forward behind Van Persie and links with him better than anyone else in the squad.

FIFA World Player of the Year winner Lionel Messi has described Walcott as "one of the most dangerous players I have ever played against".
