So that background shows the stadium the teams just played in? Let's say one game was in Wembley, then the enxt was in...Stamford bridge, does it show both Stadiums?
If you download a stadium pack I don't see why not? Also, that's pretty cool. I should get that

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Anyone know how to make the Champions League more special? Winning it is great and all, but it hardly feels like anything special. Same message as a carling cup win, same media reaction, same player reaction. Nothing special about it really. Annoys me a little...
Edit:
Or the world cup for that matter.

you get more money winning the champions league, isnt that special enough? lol
and the world cup only comes once every 4 years. if you lose, you gotta wait forever to play the next tournament

yes. at full time, it shows the picture of the stadium that the match took place in. i'm just curious how the game chooses which stadium national teams play in during friendlies. the renato dall'ara is kinda small......
anyway here are the linx,

No. No it is not. I don't care about the money. If I'm competing regulary for the CL I'm already rich enough, and have a good enough squad to get by. The Champions League is about as special to win as the Europa League. It's nice and all, but it's just another trophy =/
Yes it does, as such it should be more special when you win it. It's always the same messages, there's no massive media coverage, there is no special moments. It's a small notice at the end of the tournament, which lasts about 2 days, and then it's dead quiet. You'd think that winning the World Cup would cause a tad more interest, a tad more coverage and perhaps a tad more euforia. Instead the players are slightly chuffed for a day.
You might have the odd player "thank" the manager for winning. However that's about it. Dull.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
it's official, Totti's CA is now below 100 in my save lol. that's not even Serie B quality
yet he's still putting in performances warranting a rotation/bench player. amazing
i wonder how much longer i can drag this out for. his pace/acceleration/agility/stamina are all at 4 right now lol.

My Bilbao are third, hoping to get second. Then I've qualified for EL RO16.

I can't get this Real Sociedad save going, my brain is hard wired into ASSE mode
I'll do it later then, like in a few weeks time.

Pearce got sacked.
Looks like I have to make a triumphant return to the England fold.

I started a random save after the patch, which I have since abandoned due to boredom, where Pearce was hired full time and the first thing he does is appoint John Terry captain
