Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
I signed a few Argentinians for Celtic, but they need a work permit before they can play. Any idea how long it takes?

Depends where you send them out. England is 5 years I think.
Get a work permit feeder club.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
My Egyptian wonderkid has finally joined. Agreed to sign him at 15 for £775,000 but had to wait three years until he could join me.
Scored 4 goals in his first 2 games now .
And i'm also managing Iran now, as well as Basle

They won't have a WP to play in England. Request a feeder club where you can send players to get work permits.stickeyLFC wrote:Jordi wrote:They won't be able to play for Rochdale.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
beat Bayern 5-2 to advance to the 2014 CL semi's
i went with a more counterattacking system having won the first leg 2-1. Paloschi was injured so i took the opportunity to experiment with a new formation with no strikers and 2 wide forwards. Bayern's fullbacks are incredibly creative so i wanted to put them there anyway to mark them. my left winger was a defensive winger (because Lahm is more dangerous), and my right winger was an inside forward (because Badstuber can't dribble forwards anyway). i knew Schwini/Kroos are shitty defensively so i used Bertolacci (my most creative player) to exploit the space between the lines. wasn't expecting him to make that many key passes though
got a hattrick from my inside forward, and 13 key passes from my AMC, Bertolacci . Totti's goal was the cherry on top
i didn't have a true striker in my system. with 13 key passes and 8 CCC's, i really should've won by more

First month with Bilbao, making a 5.95m profit, with a 6-0 win over Rayo and 8-0 over a random Europa League team.

Need a new team, Celtic got a tad hard because the SPL figured out my tactic.
Need a new save to make tactics, then return to my Celtic save and then RAAAAAPEEEEEEEE.
