We haven't won in 6 games, we've gone from keeping cleansheets and scoring loads of goals to conceding every game and hardly taking chances

But, I have figured out why we've played better generally away from home lately - 1) the pitch at Crawley is the worst pitch you will ever see anywhere I'm sure. 2) Majority of the fans have come on board recently and they are the ones getting on the players backs every time something little goes wrong. No wonder Gilmartin has no confidence, he's given sarcastic cheers whenever he holds the ball, and tonight most of the home support cheered when Aldershot fans did the 'You're shit ahhhh' at Gilmartin.
Doesn't sound good mate. I'm guessing the "fans" getting on the players backs have only been supporting Crawley since the Man United cup game. I doubt they'll be there if/when your club are struggling in the future and they need you most.

Despite dropping down to 5th I do feel that Promotion is in our own hands as we still have the Shrews and Southend to play with in the next 3 weeks. If we end up in the play offs then so be it, but we have been in two play offs before and won both of them so i'm confident.
I would be truely gutted if we miss out on promotion though, as i'd imagine our star players would all leave and Yates will have to build a whole squad from scratch again.

Fucking fuming.
Derby are the biggest scum in football.
I fucking hope action is taken against them. Bang out of order tonight.

Forest mate, that's a disgrace. Hopefully Derby will take the right action against the group of supporters, assuming the culprits can be identified.

And "Rock On Ruby Wins Champion Hurdle At Cheltenham". A possible sign of good things to come for the Rubies at Whaddon Road . Lot's of hurdles still to go.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
I understand that we were shite tonight, but every time before a home game Steve Evans asks the fans to get behind the team and from the first second they were on the players backs! It's ridiculous if you ask me. When Aldershot scored early I wasn't downbeat I just thought to myself 'there's plenty of time to come back in this game..'. I can see where they are coming from in a sense though, you could see it tonight. There was no urgency and nobody was going for the short pass from Gilmartin (Dean Howell our usual left back and David Hunt our usual right back would always be there for the short option). But, as there was no short option, we resorted to hoofing it up to nobody making it easy for Aldershot's back four. Barnett would've won 90% of the headers though as his leaping ability should put him in the NBA.RubyArmyCTFC wrote:easley91 wrote:Well that was the worst football I've seen at the Broadfield EVER (including non-league). Positives to come out of tonight are Alexander and Clarke got their first goals for the club, so hoping that gives them confidence to score a few more, and somehow some way we didn't lose. Honestly, I was looking straight at the goal for Clarke's from where I was and for the life of me I couldn't tell if it had gone in or been disallowed or what, then went fucking mental.
Biggest highlight and laugh would be Reggie (our loveable mascot) got hold of a drum and started some chants, that was quite good. We may play shit at times, but we have one of the most entertaining mascots around! If you ever come to Crawley, come watch a game if only to see Reggie.

We had to give an apology for them Knill chants a while ago.. although the cunt brought it on anyway.
Disgraceful by Derby fans no need for it whatsoever.

Our allocation at Palace is just under 6000.
It'll be Dellhurst all over again.

Lambert.
Some of those are really debatable, at least in their position on the list.

Can't believe it? I certainly can. He was always our stand-out player. Without him we would have been relegated a lot sooner than we were. Hoskins scored 20-odd goals last season in the league and we still went down.
What I can't believe is how we only got £1million for him.

I remember when the shit used to call him a average league one player.
Then he scored the winner against them.
How wrong were they.
