According to an Aldershot forum they cancelled a coach and instead are using a minibus which has spare seats left (as of this morning). Maybe not a good away turn out tonight then.

Meh, I like being able to talk to fans of my own club.....people who actually know something about the club, players etc.
Ours is really active, every game we make match threads and link the opposition team in.....so if they have any activity it can be decent.
Problem is that some teams think they are big and have a ridiculous ego.
When it's Spurs and they play shit, but start saying "Oh it's only the result that counts" and all other kinds of bullshit.....it's bad enough.......but when Bristol City come to Watford and are like "4-0, Watford are rubbish and we're on the up."....... Worst this season was Southampton,Leicester, and Bristol.

Obviously you have beaten us pretty badly this year.......but it's annoying when almost every team predicts a big win with us and to completely dominate us.....especially when we're at home.
IMO, I have only seen one team outclass us, and that was West Ham at Vicarage Road when they beat us 4-0....and maybe Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
Despite the 3-0 scoreline, Southampton really weren't that good on that day. Pretty much every goal was fortunate or worse. Obviously I don't blame Southampton for being clinical, but the Southampton fans were acting like they outclassed us and were talking shit about us.
I don't think anyone likes sour grapes...but that goes for teams who win too. I'll accept when we deserve to lose....but shit talking and basing a game only on the score, especially in a negative way is just annoying. Southampton were the best at doing that for sure. Never had nearly that much from West Ham, which is surprising when you consider thy just came down, not up. Recently drew 1-1 with them and they were pretty spot on and respectful...likewise we let in an 87th minute goal but were realistically still delighted with our players and the result and focusing on that, not moaning about West Ham or trying to rub it in.
Worst thing I hate about managers is when they say "We know how Watford play" before the game, then we outplay them, and they moan about how we play afterwards. Honestly we don't play that bad, I've seen much worse from us in regards to hoof ball. Also, most of these teams are not doing anything better.

So we cause the Preston manager to lock his players in the Changing room at the Weston homes and now the Sheffield United players are fighting each other there! Morale crushers!

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Well that was the worst football I've seen at the Broadfield EVER (including non-league). But, I have figured out why we've played better generally away from home lately - 1) the pitch at Crawley is the worst pitch you will ever see anywhere I'm sure. 2) Majority of the fans have come on board recently and they are the ones getting on the players backs every time something little goes wrong. No wonder Gilmartin has no confidence, he's given sarcastic cheers whenever he holds the ball, and tonight most of the home support cheered when Aldershot fans did the 'You're shit ahhhh' at Gilmartin.
