He's apparently one of our better younger players, I have never seen him play myself though.

Attacking mid, and is a playmaker. He was approached by Barcelona rightfully so

Prolific.
He's more of a second striker some of his link up play can be really good. Never really been the same since he broke his leg though should do ok in league 2 might be a bit rusty though as I don't think he's played much in his loan spells.

Rowan Vine
The guy is a scummer, and he's not even a good one. After all he's been through he's League Two standard if he's lucky, probably Conference.
Meanwhile.....Bury have signed 18 year old Watford goalkeeper Jonathan Bond until the end of the season.
He's actually quite a good keeper....probably 3rd choice for us behind Kuczchak and Loach (ahead of Gilmartin Easley ). Obviously being young though it's hard for him to get a chance in between the sticks......

Cheers didn't notice this.. Will be coming in at an important time so hopefully he won't make many mistakes and will be a decent keeper.Lux wrote:Rowan Vine

Did you see my above post?
There's not really much to say about him. He has played for Wales u19's.....think he got called up to the first team once though he didn't feature.
Has played twice for our first team, for a while against Portsmouth when Loach was sent off....we were poor that day and can't blame Bond for the goals that went in. Then played in FA Cup vs Bradford....score was 4-2 but tbh he couldn't do much about the goals.
He needs time....he's really young so it'll be hard for him, but he has potential that's for sure.

It doesn't take a lot to be called up for a Welsh youth team. A few of our youth players have played or play for them.

I am happy for him coming in but its fucking brave as hes basically going to be in our relegation fight. If he helps us he will be a hero in my eyes.

Well, bar his shit mistake in his first game vs Southampton.....he has actually been really good.
Made dozens of great saves...he has kept us in a few games and won us some points.

It's a shame for him that he had arguably the best goalkeeper we ever had ahead of him for all those years, he's quite decent bar some stupid mistakes he makes sometimes. I really hope he does well.

Our keeper Belford has fell out with everyone and has gone to Southend.. and Carson who is on loan from Sunderland is returning to them next week so we will only have your keeper and our reserve one.

We need Poke back to match fitness.
Bevan is shit keeper. Buckle brought a load of shit with him for Torquay, minus Zebroski who is finally looking good.

Also got James Baxendale, a striker from Donny who seems a bit of an unknown.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
We won't take 3k no, but Coventry with a bigger stadium is a better prospect to casual fans then Gillingham. It was 322, which for us is pretty good seeing as it is our first football league season while trying to get new fans to stick around and old fans to return after the Majeeds drove them away.Walcott wrote:Crawley only took 300 to Gillingham which is about a 50 mile trip. Doubt they would take 3k upto Coventry lol.
Took quite a few up to Hull, a very long drive, and I reckon we'd do the same for Coventry, Forest, Portsmouth etc. if they go down and we go up.
